I'm loving this album!! I'm really enjoying the fact that every song has a real difference from each other, these guys really wanted to make an album that was their sound, but at the same point make it sound like nothing we've heard from them before! Nailed it!!

Love all the lyrical call backs to past staind track titles, album titles, and lyrics in the lyrics of this track. Fray was the best song on 14 shades of grey. Fade…also one of stainds best. cool callbacks.

Love this song! "There is no black and white". We can't be disappointed when everything in life is not perfect or ALL GOOD. If our current situation is not what we want we also shouldn't live as though EVERYTHING is ALL BAD. It's about finding comfort even when things are coming undone.

Stand is amazing and Mike is a monster! His riffs are incredible, he's one of the biggest reasons I like Staind so much, and he's the biggest reason I follow Saint Asonia! Mike's live performances are still top notch! What desire, what stage presence, what physical vigor and what an incredible guitarist! Many younger guitarists seem to be dying on stage, not Mike, he is always performing at an absurd level! 🇧🇷

You had silenced your ego, but now they've reminded you of it again. So, don’t be afraid to summon it back. But remember, if you try to target others’ egos directly, you’ll lose control over your own ego once again. Instead, fight their egos indirectly. Don't try to prove yourself to them, and don't feel inferior or anything just because they didn't believe in you or left you alone. Just keep your focus on your very same values, and your own journey. By your new accomplishments on that journey, they will be forced to see how wrong their judgments about you were. And if you really know what you're doing, you won’t even bother looking back to see if they eventually have come to terms with their own misconceptions, which were most likely driven by their egos anyway. That's the real victory, over their ego and also over your own ego. Keep safe.

While not my favourite Staind album, it was certainly different. It reminds me a bit of Break The Cycle, some Dysfunction, and old Stabbing Westward, of all things. Despite my indifference on the album, Mike Mushok almost always delivers with some behemoth rips on the heavier tracks and Aaron still sounds great for his age! The bass and drums help hold it all together. I'd give the album 7.5 out of 10.
