Scratches will develop right from the first time you keep the pan or pot on gas stove. Doesn't matter which Brand. After a while you won't even look at them, so they won't bother u as scratches & pits will develop on the inside too if u use metal spoon

Hello, I hope you are doing fine. We would like to inform you that sometimes the presence of undissolved salt in a pan, mixed either with cold water or left after boil drying, can cause corrosion or pitting in a pan. Thereby, it is recommended that you add salt only after the water has reached its boiling point. Having said that, you can use the following steps to clean: Pour vinegar enough to cover the bottom of the cookware. Wait for a couple of minutes, rub the affected area with a soft sponge and rinse it thoroughly. Wipe with a dry cloth/tissue/paper towel. Regards Pots and Pans Team

@@PotsandPansIndia Thank you for the detailed answer. It is indeed as you have written - black spots developed after adding salt in cold water. My cleaning maid got the spots out by first sprinkling baking soda on spots and then putting some dish wash liquid over it and scrubbing it off.
