I got a LG I have had a month and a half. I had a new one years ago given to me by my niece. It didn't match the rest of her appliances it still worked when I pushed it to the curve to have it taken away. Good review Brother.

Nice refrigerator. I bought the Hisense upright freezer from Lowes last month and it is the BOMB! The size of it and the capacity, plus the 2 year warranty and the fact that it was deal of the day, made the buy a great one for me.

Just a few months I had to get a new fridge, I got an Lg with bottom drawer like yours with ice maker but not french door style..i love it..repairman who came in said Lg was best so we decided to go with what he recommended.

I have Samsung Famimy Hub and my ice maker froze often as well. I finally got them to admit there was a recall on the ice maker system. They ordered the part a tech came out and replaced parts and he did some caulking with a food grade type material. This was about a year ago I haven't had any more problems with it since the fix. Love your content, keep up the good work. Also consider getting a whole home warranty from a known company. Peace.

Thank you for your review, Doug. Because of you, I changed the model I was going to purchase. I have a french door unit with the door ice, no drawer, and I was going to purchase the Hisense with door ice and drawer to have a functioning ice/water system and address other issues at the same time. Once I saw your review, I realized the door ice not only takes away from the clean design, but is not important as a feature of the door. It also points to the future potential headache caused by being inside the main cabinet of the refrigerator (across all units of this design, a video is out there about humidity and temp differences, with lawsuits against Samsungs and LGs, for premature failures, due to the in the door / main cabinet design). You also saved me a nice amount of money due to the model change. And, additionally - Its on sale again, 600 off as you showed from last May. Good thru Oct 11. So thank you Doug - Thank you for taking the time to present your opinion, findings, and footage. It made a difference !

I bought the same fridge only difference is my ice/water is in the door my filter went out didn't know I had to change it every 6 months so thanks for the info about the filters on. Also I've had mine a year & 1 month & paid $1300, I was gonna get the Samsung but it was $3000 but with the hisense being on sale I got a new stove also😊

Has the the door fell off yet, or are the lower door hinges still in the sagging phase? Because that’s what will happen with a Hisense French Door refrigerator, followed by far off cricket chirping in two part harmony courtesy of Lowes and Hisense.

Got ours in February 2023. One of the middle glass shelf busted because the plastic frame cracked. The left door is now sagging sitting about 1/4 inch lower than the right. This is a trash fridge. There's a current lawsuit for the cheap plastic frames. Only started to see problems a few weeks ago

Got one just like it today. But the guys from Lowe's plugged it in right away not a good idea to do that cause you need it to sit first for a bit a little bit than after it's been sitting than plug it in than set the temps in the computer system which everything is comeing out computer wise. But it's wide it's nice we got it on sale and brand knew. And more room and space.

Love it Doug, great video. Agree my Samsung French Door, 5 years old is going in the bin. Same issue, ice maker conked out ages ago and the plastic panel in the fridge needs de icing once a month or fan starts growling like a bitch because of ice build up, it's just a joke and they're not cheap either. Hisense next on the list as I hear LG are just a bad as Samsung
