This is such a cool game. I started being suspicious when most of the solutions for the pests weren't really solutions, but more so protective measures for the pests in question. Then Carol is some weird fairy queen killing prank callers. Yeah, The Player is just a pawn mitigating the fallout of supernatural disturbances.

I'm just wondering why the hell the cops are telling people to call the fey service when they make the problem worse a huge amount of the time. Most of these little gremlins get bigger and cause more problems when you feed them, according to the customers, and it seems like throughout the game the police redirect more and more problems to you, and at first I was partially thinking; hey they're sending more responsibilities to us! We're finally getting some recognition! But now I'm thinking the only way the setting makes sense is if they live in some sort of rule-by-pixies situation where all the government and cops have been killed and replaced.
