I remember rummaging through a bargain bin at a vinyl shop in Sheffield and found a copy of The Stakker Humanoid Remixes. 8 in all, this being one of them. Brown coloured vinyl. 50p. Couldn't believe my luck

This is seminal. My dad had it on some kind of compilation CD for a Yamaha hifi in the late 80s I guess? The original is great but this machine guns it on full auto.

Probably Deep Heat compilation. I was only 10 in 1988 but my brother was 16 and he bought that album. I taped it off him. Wow, taped. There's a word we don't say anymore

Transformer skratch (style of it anyway) being done on this version which shocked me as that was hip hop's big thing back then from 88 - 89. The original is incredible but this mix is actually chilled in it's own way! Dope tune indeed then and now.
