Two tips I've found that might help! 1. Casualties in war drain your war support the higher they get and can be raised weekly via decisions. 2. Next to the setting where you can choose which attack order you want (Careful, modest, and aggressive) you can choose the flexibility of your divisions, basically how far they'll move to reorganize. Hope this could help!

Very well edited, enjoyed watching you struggle at first - as I’ve done many times, in many games - then finally finding a path to victory. I used to play Axis&Allies a lot. (Not exactly the same, but sorta kinda similar. One Christmas break, a housemate and I had an epic 15hr struggle for world dominance - starting in the morning and going into the wee hours… followed by a grudge match the next day that went 11 hours! (Allies won both, eventually.) I only saw Japan win one time, ever. But they literally won everything. Trounced Russia, then crushed Germany. Even a last ditch joining with the allies (by this point my opponent had surrendered and went home) couldn’t save Das Reich, and the Imperial Japanese Army stormed Berlin, and drove the allies back out of Europe. Laid siege to the UK, sending strategic bombers in such massive numbers that there was nothing left with which to build reinforcements, and sending wave after wave of single infantry units supported by massive battleship bombardment and fighters out the wazoo until the English were bled dry, then walked in without firing a shot. From there, I took away the Panama Canal, then conducted invasions of the east and west coasts - of both the US Canada - simultaneously! Singing “Oh, Canada” to myself in a bad Japanese accent was memorable. Went to sleep thinking about how the world would have been different had the real war played out the same way. Thanks for letting me share.

Playing the new DLC made me appreciate Ironman Mode again, it's quite fun not being able to cheat. I first tried out Switzerland, tried to go the German puppet route but unfortunately you can't do that focus if you're already at war, which I was, I pissed off the British too much by buying German aircraft and fought a defensive war against Framce before joining the Axis, the tide of war turned as Germany steamrolled through Benelux and France. I tried to do a bit of crusading in North Africa in an attempt to help the Italians take the Suez, game crashed just as I had separated the North from the South. RIP, though in all honesty seeing Swiss units in Africa was cursed so I'm glad that ended. And I just did a game as historical Hungary, went all the way to 1946. It looked like the Axis was going to win but as always the Eastern front took a nosedive, I had to delete my entire army so they didn't get encircled in the Caucasus, luckily it was only 40 units. After that fiasco I tried to stabilize Greece which at this point was an Allied foothold, what's worse is that Turkey joined (they were the once who nearly encircled me, Iran was also a Soviet puppet so the Caucasus was just pure hell) so the South Balkans eventually fell, then Italy broke in two, and then Bulgaria broke in two, and then Yugoslavia returned when the British naval invaded. I tried to hastily fortress Hungary but it was too late, only my fallback line was holding the Allies off, luckily I spammed out enough units to hold all my territory. But I wasn't a major power and after Bulgaria fell (it was the last major power as Germany and Italy had fallen) the AI forced peace, surprisingly I wasn't puppeted but the vast majority of my territory was puppeted by the Soviets, I only had one state left. Years of pain and supply issues, but that pain was surprisingly fun. Losing was surprisingly fun. I'll try my hand at China next I think, can't wait to have millions of soldiers starving while literally doing nothing!

As a portuguese, I just love how Portugal just chilled in its corner eating popcorn as Spain gets absolutly creamed by the Italians. Then the germans come in for like 2 seconds before Italy takes out No No Mustache Man which once again gifts Spain back to the Italians. And top it all of Beakolini gets deposed. 10/10 What a ride, good sir.
