Hi Flamu. Have you experienced a bug in the game after the latest update? Me and another player had. Suddenly you can't shoot the guns but you have control of the ship or airplanes. And when you press to fire you ping at random squares on the minimap. Also when the bug is active autopilot is not working.

That GK was hilarious. They hid behind you, terrified of taking damage. When you had nearly sunk the Preussen they realised their moment had arrived. Full steam ahead, straight into Flamu as the heroic BB saving the day! Failing to ram and push you out they the took the only reasonable course of action, sailed full broadside out from behind the island. Going from terrified of taking damage to seizing the moment and finding a way to maximise all damage taken. Please don't hurt my ship! But if you are going to shoot me, you must take full advantage of my massive broadside. Terrified of taking tiny amounts of chip damage but a glutton for devastating strikes. Is this some sort of WOWS BDSM community I wasn't aware of?

I enjoyed it for what it was way back when, but I haven’t played in a few years. I played from the closed alpha. I stopped after Smolensk… kept adding nothing but long range HE spammers to the game so. Was a fun few years while it lasted.

2:28 This is actually a pretty perfect example of how spotting is based on your ships' highest point of superstructure rather than a universal fixed-point system, because of how the edge of the cliff was ever so briefly between your main tower and the Preussen before you peeked back out and got respotted.

they propably stay in the back with their secondary builds after they have seen what happened to me multiple times. They are like look at that Guy. He pushed in with a secondary Build Battleship and tried to support a DD and a Cruiser. The DD smoked up and got torped instead of looking for the enemy dd who was blocking the Cap (maybe the friendly dd had no Concealment Expert or Last stand) and the Cruiser got instandly deleted. Now this Guy got targeted by 2 Thunderers while being perma spotted by the enemy dd. He tried to run but was burned down. After seing what happened to me they decided to stay at the back and run a Range Mod.

Would you recommend the Stalingrad as a first steel ship? (I already have the Moskva, and well....it's not bad. I can make it work, but I usually get farmed out pretty fast unless I get lucky with spawn).

I think Stalingrad will be my first steel ship as it suits the current meta very well. I know most people suggest Bourgogne, but I feel like I will enjoy and succeed more in the Stalingrad for WOWS in current year.

honestly current meta is not really suitable for stalingrad, she he is very clumsy and weak against HE spammers, flamu got lucky that in this battle he had no spammers against on his flank. You also need to know where to position yourself to get the broadside you need to punish people while also being in a relatively safe position, you can see in this battle flamu using the island very well but even then he got really low, luckily no HE spammers against, the only 'cruiser' was a stupid petro that sailed full broadside.

@@MrAlessandroj Those are some very good points. I know when I play my Moskva when there is a CV or a sub, a bow in island position is certain death. Unfotunately with Bourgogne it will struggle against overmatch - something I loathe in the Republique, and there's so much of it in the top tiers these days.

@@MrAlessandroj Definitely not as strong as used to be, but face reality, you dont get stalingrad for tankiness, you get it for guns, and guns, boy, these guns are simply the best. And you get soviet radar and kuznetsov on top, definitely still super strong ship.

@@Telashar It’s strong certainly, but in randoms you can play better and more fun ships. The guns are strong but the dpm isn’t actually great, if you wanna punish broadsides just play a BB (Slava guns are phenomenal in randoms). In the current meta, with all the HE spammers, Very tanky BBs or HE spammers BBs, CV , subs , Gunboat DDs that farm you from 14km away.. playing a static cruiser that gets spotted from the moon and has low dpm is challenging. There will be matches were the stars align like in this one of Flamu, but in general it will not be a very fun experience. In competitive is different, there is a lot more value in using a Stalingrad.

@@MrAlessandroj You can set stali in a kite position and jink from 15-18km, the guns are that good and turret angles are fine firing backwards. If by chance you have a spotter [dd] then things are far safer to move in. Stalingrad worth the spend even today.

i can understand schliffen players cuz this ship dies real quick if the map doesn't have any islands or a cv in play so you gotta scoot around then push in the late game but in this type of map and mm you gotta push cuz this your time to shine but not like the enemy team in this vid imagine a musashi pushin like a brawling bb wannabe or gk playin gotta catch all the torps and they came from the same spot givin full broadside like muppets instead of circling this weakish flank while they killed the enemy dd in the middle and they got island cover so they wouldn't worry about crossfire cept minesota they could easily give flamu a nice dose of buttsex only two dds in the enemy team paid any attention to the map and thats it also flamu's team wasn't the brightest , just look at the lemmingtrain other side of the map but enemies didn't look at it and turn it into an opportunity i think they need to make the map as big as it gets as default setting cuz ppl can't see shit

But thats the WG way Flamu, play the game your way, and never learn any different or improve your game play by playing a ship to its strengths and in his case use his 'superior' and 'non-existant' German long range accuracy to saturate targets with main battery.

I think the reason the players play GK and other German ships is because they are Wehraboos. Then they look up a proper build for a GK but don't change their play style to fit that.
