This scene 1:32:10 reminded me of something. One thing I learned about WW2 that never gets discussed were the millions of animal casualties. The Germans relied heavily on horses, as well as the Russians somewhat early on, and it's very sad thinking of millions of these poor animals trapped in a warzone, frightened and dying in just about every way imaginable. Also millions of dogs and cats starving or blown up in bombings of cities. 😞

Even today, modern day metal detectorists are finding the remains of soldiers from both sides, who died there. Some in trenches that were slowly filled in over time and others just out in the middle of a seemingly empty field. One by one their remains are repatriated to their country, where any remaining relatives might claim them and finally give them a proper burial. Yet many thousands remain, hidden from sight from loved ones never knowing what happened to them. To you brave souls, I raise my glass to honor you, no matter your nationality. As a disabled VietNam vet Ive had a taste of war. I teach now, and these high school gansta wannabe's have no idea how lucky they are to grow up not even knowing what war is.

My high school shop teacher in the 80s was a USMC Vietnam vet, who had lost part of his hand. He was a nice helpful guy, skinny and looked a lot like James Cameron and Owen Wilson with those 1960s black plastic framed eyeglasses, but he took no schitt. We had a gangsta wannabe stealing our tools and he physically threw him out! Mr. A made a big impression on me. He even picked me up one day when I was walking home in the rain. We asked him about his war stories, but he only told us that the coldest he'd ever been was sitting in the rain at night in Vietnam. So cold he cried.

Фигня, как будто танки сами ехали, без людей. А что ж не стрелял никто??? Как в интернетике вышли всех и постреляли. Бой где??
@AudieHolland11 күн бұрын
You should look up the tank scene seperately because in this video, a few gruesome scenes were omitted.

No!

@@MyCinemaEurope The film should be 134 min long, and it's actually a "good" thing if just end credit being cut.

This movie was released in 1993, not 2024. And the title is Stalingrad. It’s an excellent war movie from Germans point of view.

What is your opinion?
@jukkatiainen731315 күн бұрын
Stalingradiin jäi saarroksiin n. 260 000 Saksan sotilasta... Näistä oli todellisuudessa n. 40000 puna-armeijan loikkaria jotka olivat siirtyneet saksalaisten puolelle.
