I'm not jumping into the zone until it's fixed. A-Life, stickdrift, and tons more need to be patched, and better features need to be added. I'd rahter wait and play the full experience as intended.

the "A Life" system that made the original stalker so special is completely missing. at 40 hours into the game i can no longer ignore it. compared to other AI, the orignal stalker simulates human-like decision making. instead of waiting for the player to enter the vicinity, the AI is proactive and based on certain rules, will make decisions on their own. (the exception being important NPCs that facilitate the main story tasks)

The studio wasn't ready to release the game but Microsoft kept pushing it because they didn't want another delay. If everything was to be 100% ready to go it would've been another year which these big corporations don't want.

The texture flicker in certain locations really ruins the immersion. Hope they fix that soon as well.

It feels like more stuff spawns after the CIIRCA portion of the campaign. it just feels like things spawn so close that it makes immersion kinda hard to maintain. Factions will be fighting, but sometimes I can be fast enough to catch them all standing in a close cluster together moments before they engage in a firefight.

People need to stop thinking frame gen is anything else but just "cosmetic change" of fps your 100 fps is actually lower than 60 and thats why you are getting stutters. People need to learn what is frame gen and how it works.

​@@everythingponySame, one dashboard crash on Xbox, had an issue with an NPC blocking a doorway, but punching him out the way fixed that, only took hours cuz I was worried I'd piss off the faction 😂

Game is unoptimized crap, on high with fsr quality i barely getting 60 with constant drops to 40 or less. And characters and facial animations look like they are from 10+ years. For a game of 170gb this is unacceptable crap. Breaks enjoyment completely.

You could say the same for cyberpunk, but its release was far worse than stalker and took a few years to be considered one of the best games ever made. I didn’t play it until a few months ago. Also A-Life is not about the combat you run into but the interactions that happen outside of your line of sight, like two factions fighting on the other side of the map or an NCP dying to a mutant. If you want to get the true feeling of A-life play any of the previous games, this game will have something similar but since it’s running on UE5 it technically won’t be the same. Also you’ll notice in older games the AI isn’t as people will tell you, they will fight aggressive and make tactical moves but it’s janky sometimes and it can be hit or miss. I’m a huge fan of the games and I will always recommend them for the experience, it’s hard to find a single game with actually smart intuitive AI so this game isn’t going to be revolutionary in any sense just fun.

I'm very desepointing that there is no night vision in Stalker 2. Like WTF!? All previous stalker games have it! And I'm not impress with Unreal engine. It's nothing special compere to other game engines. The lighting is really weird inside buildings. Otherwise, it's a true stalker game. It just needs some more work to be really great.

Gear repair prices are WAY too high. It should not take 16k to repair less than 25% on my armour and almost 5k for my guns. I JUST left the lesser zone btw

After day one patch, it still works like utter crap. Fps drops are non stop present, with constant drops bellow 60. In Frist village fps is almost unplayable. Luckily it works a bit better in the open. But human enemies tend to be bullet sponges and have auto aim while moving and shoting. Prices to repair guns are also garbage.

And Yeah the repair costs suck too but is what it is for now. People also need to realize this is an UE game now; UE is known for being a beautiful but bugggggggy mess. I’m just happy it came out at all.
