Theres a mod that fixes A Life (Kinda) its called Roadside Panic, it basically fixes the enemy spawns near you and makes them spawn elsewheere, it does a lot of cool stuff tbf this also couples well with a stealth mod fix which is available too!

I'm on Series X and on 40 hours of gameplay I've had no bugs or glitches and only one occurrence of the stutter entering a camp. I've had a virtually perfect experience. Stick drift was an issue but adjusted settings and got userd to it. I could not agree more. It's game of the year hands down for me. And easily in my top five games I've played in the 40 years I've been playing games.

I'm on PC and not having too many issues other than the AI/A-life being essentially non-existent, but I'm basically brute forcing it with 4k/DLAA using a 4090 and 14700k. The only game breaking bug I've had was the camera getting locked at the "Post Office" right after the tutorial, because the NPC there died.

It's S.T.A.L.K.E.R but better, it's absolutely the best game I've played in the past two decades. It has an incredible amount of replay value and it's going to get some serious mod treatment like the original. It wouldn't be S.T.A.L.K.E.R without a bit of jank but I've just finished my first playthrough to the Ward ending with few issues - the best advice I can give anyone is save regularly.

Lmao. It's nothing like Stalker. It's fallout Ukraine. It lacks so many things the og stalker had, mainly a life. The starting area in SoC feels more alive than the entire Stalker 2 map.

The most fustrating thing is the mouse acceleration that you cannot disable and the game feels like you are playing with input lag … there is a workaround but need to be implemented each time you open the game… the stealth system is broken… the npcs behaving like they have wallhack and they follow you throught walls and bushes… and some mutants are behaving like bullet sponges… sometimes you have to shot a flesh with 10 buckshot… don’t try to engage a bloodsucker without 300 rounds… or 60 buckshots and 20 medkits… headshots are ignored… don’t try to headshot humans … they take 4-5 high power flesh damage rounds in the head with helmet… poltergeist are sooo anoyng because most of the time the bullets go through them… and the world kinda feels empty , no patrols or activity happening outside the user … the npcs spawns randomly in your FOV or 2 feet behind of you and start shooting… some mutants attack you from under the ground and cannot be killed… and to be real :)) i don’t consider that a bug just the effect of an anomaly 😂😂😂

@@AidennW Put this in your "C:\Users\"user name"\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows\Input.ini" file and the mouse will feel snapier.... i wonder why they did set mouse acceleration on standard... and there are no other options to deactivate it only with that [/script/engine.inputsettings] bEnableMouseSmoothing=False bViewAccelerationEnabled=False and save. Sometimes the settings will remain, sometimes will be deleted from the file.... on pc restart , guess it;s luck

If so that fix will not work… It only works without frame gen and removes the hardware acceleration … The problem with frame gen is that adds like 20-30ms sometimes of input delay on its own … and sometimes the inputs are delayed so the image to look more fluid … i hate when developers just throw things for “optimising” with DLLS or Frame gen, and is not quite their fault…. The main fault is the UE5 team that pushes Lumen and nanite and Nvidia which is pushing on upscaling and RTX at high prices instead of doing their cards to perform … in my opinion the GAMMA and Anomali mods looks better, feel better, are smother… sometimes the game is moving in Powerpoint presentation mode instead of playing in looking at slides …. Instead of doing an open world they should stayed with the old game principle … and i dont want to start with the map…. The map is kinda scrambled…. Zaton near Swamps? Is not the zone that we explorer in the first 3 games, it looks like they throwed the old map in a blender and pieced what remains of that with glue…. The maps are kinda delimited by rivers and steep clifs still making you to go through predeterimined “checkpoints”

Its the best game ive played in a long time but theres so many little annoying things that all compound eachother! I love the zone an the lighting and the exploration but i find it annoying that you cant as easily tell friend from foe due to the lack of faction tag when you look at/ loot them and thats made worse by no binoculars and i wanna play with no crosshair but its the only sure fire way to detect friendlies at a distance... and the gear repair cost is ridiculous what were they thinking? An you have to fix your gear a lot due to the insane spawn rate of bloodsuckers, how over done are they? And i cant shake the feeling that im playing a hollow version of the game and need to hold off until a-life actually works, it just feels so wrong without it

I've modded the crap out of the game and now it runs fairly well and balances a lot of the game to be less annoying in some areas (stamina) and more challenging in others (Healing and consumables). Honestly, if it wasn't for the mods, I wouldn't be super happy with the game. 10/10 mod support saves the day.

@dngames_1911 i had the same issue with my rtx 4070. My issue ended up being dlss causing the memory leak, so I now use TSR with nvidia frame generation enabled and haven't had any issues since.

I died in the chemical plant and my save was in there. Everytime i load a save in there it either freezes or just loads a long time. My previous save was in roztok and it works fine. I dont know if anyone else has this problem but I'm around 19 hours in I play on xbox as well. Aside from some low frame rates and a couple bugs I haven't had any major problems till now.

I had the same issue on PC at about 40 hours in at chemical plant. The workaround was to load a save (quick save) from before entering the plant, for me, that was about 20min before my last save. Then I just had to play through the chemical plant without dying. I made sure to finish the mission before trying to save and load again.

Imma be completely real, I must have run into every non-save-breaking issue that has been reported and I'm still having an amazing time w the game. I wasn't even aware of the issues when I downloaded it, I can't imagine how great my second run is gonna be lmao, unfortunate that it'll take my second run for a true playthrough but I don't think it's that big an issue. If you’re on series X, although the “quick resume” feature does work. It created a lot of frame drops, glitches etc for me. Quit out the game every time. Other than that, as much as I’m loving it. The shooting feels horrible for me, not sure if it’s setting or what but when I ads or shoot my reticle is being dragged all over. Not sure if that’s the intended stalker experience but either way I am enjoying it. Really tactical

idc how to notice the Vram leak.... i got a 4070TiS .. and frames depending on where i am never dips below 80 .. sometime swings to 120fp .. all on epic . somtimes a dip but ill thank the sporadic AI spawn for that .. (ever had to deal with 6 bloodsuckers that came out of no where?) xD also campfires.. idc there boring i think im missing interaction menu's to it :S i just sit. 25 hours in and I'm addicted to it. Best gameplay in years. Runs great for me, and I've only encountered 3 very minor bugs. The only issue I have is that it does crash from time to time but that's not too much of an issue as it starts up so quickly. Totally awesome game and full props to the developers for releasing a great game with none of the woke nonsense and hand holding that plagues most modern games.

Well, I'm sorry, but my experience to it has been pretty awful, I'm on pc. There is absolutely no controller support whatsoever, despite being stated on store page that it has "partial" support, there is UI for Xbox controller ingame but no input registers. The AI is pretty much non-existant, I mean, enemies attack you, sure, but they actually spawn as close to you most of the time. Human enemies are fine, but mutants are just bullet sponges, it like they don't even flinch to damage, you can literally spam 5 shotguns shells at a palms range and they don't even care, still attacking you This needs a lot of fixes to be considered a good experience and even a good game in 2024.

I’m in series X, I’m having a lot of fun with the game. The issues I’ve experienced are weird gunplay on controller, the ai spawn distance, textures flickering at bases, UI not loading after cutscenes, a few sound glitches, and the game is way too dark. I can’t see most of my engagements outside behind 25 meters except during midday. It I can overlook most of them, but the way the enemies spawn in, in conjunction with the difficult controller ADS and the dark lighting makes the game frustrating sometimes. The boss fights do seem to be predictable bullet sponges sometimes. But they’re usually pretty immersive.

The game is good. Hopefully it'll be great when optimization and various patches and hot fixes are implemented. My PC has a RTX 4070 Super (12g vram), i9 12900k CPU and 64 gigs of ram. I'm getting 60fps-90fps everywhere. However, my processor runs at 100% all the time, even when standing still - my liquid cooler fans have been the loudest I've ever heard them. And that's with game settings at mostly medium (there's a couple I left at high and no epic settings). And when I start the game, shader loading time is 10-12 minutes. Pop-ins are still a thing. Keyboard and mouse inputs were 2-4 seconds late until I had to fix the config/ini files. I shouldn't have these problems at all with my rig. The game looks great. Gunplay is phenomenal. The story starts slow; you don't really know why you're there, other than you contracted to do a job in the zone. So there's no real hook that draws you in, like in Skyrim, FO4, KCD, or even the first Stalker game, "Shadow of Chernobyl", for example. But, the game is quite like the aforementioned games, quest and fetch as you move along the story. The AI, what is known as GSCs A-Life 2.0 is in the game, but not implemented because it doesn't work. So the bandage fix they did spawns NPCs and mutants to kill you right after you killed the first batch within seconds AND behind you. It's extremely irritating. Mutants are huge bullet sponges and that requires taking huge amounts of ammo and meds which then weighs you down. The potential is there, but I'm not playing this game until its had several patches and the AI is sufficiently fixed. But...I WILL play this game eventually and love it.

@@levibull6063 In the OG, Monolith were the ultimate cult enemy. While GSC is correct in that you needn't play Shadow of Chernobyl, players miss out on a great deal of lore and why things are the way they are. I saved the Monolithian as well and frankly, I thought I was taking a chance because even if I know how it all started and the way thing are as they are, I still don't know what has changed in the last 10 or so years - after Call of Pripyat. I still don't know if players decisions actually make a difference in the overall game, but I do know that a couple decisions you make affects the end, just like the OG. I will say no more on that. It's said "reputation" is a thing in the game, but I have yet to see it. There's nothing in the game that shows your reputation; whether it goes up or down. There's a quest to put a vodka in three different stashes; the only thing is you can't steal from them. I stole all the stashes and nothing became of it. So, the decisions you make are your own and how you want to play the game.

Had some fun with this, but the instaspawn, bullet sponge enemies, combined with ridiculous equipment wear and tear, and crazy economy / repair prices and random ctds means I'll give it some more time to marinate and get fixed. Rx6800xt, ryzen 5800x3d, 32gb. No issues, performance is good (120fps when it matters) on ultra 1080p, had no bugs just some texture flickering but love the game, got 50 hours already. Used to play the old ones with mods all the way in 2014. With the extensive modkit coming sometime with the expansions, this game will live a long time, given how incredibly huge and detailed the map is, just needs some time to work on a-life but I dont mind, the game is crafted with so much passion and love the devs will work it out with time

Stealth is broken and currently A-Life essentially disabled and replaced with a spawner. That's why you're constantly being ambushed by 3 guys, etc.

I’ve been playing on Xbox series X, main complaint right now is the lack of controller sensitivity and joystick dead zone settings. I’m on max sensitivity and it still feels low to me. I feel like it’s pretty important for a survival game where you should be conservative with ammo usage. Other than that, it is def a fun game and haven’t encountered too many glitches.

Stalker 2 is great but the Ai Bugs are killing the vibe for me have around 30 hours played and the amount of time Quests bugs out getting stuck in Dialog and can't exit the Dialog have to restart game hence do shaders again... hopefully in a week the Ai bugs are fixed cause its actually pretty bad atm.

By the way....this game is beautiful!! Fell só satisfying exploring all handcrafted abandoned buildings and locations...never feel so immersed and tense since Anomaly and Gamma.

The attention to detail and atmosphere is stunning - esp considering the scale of it .The game is a work of art imo - you can tell the devs are soulful people from the obvious love they've put into it - they want their player base to have an amazing immersive experience within the environment too...this is obv what sets this apart from the cashgrab AAA games - eg starfield, cod etc..

Im roughly 35 maybe 40 hours into it on an Xbox series S and it's running decently. A few crashes here and there and had a bugged main quest but I loaded a previous save and collected the item I needed before starting the quest and that fixed it.

I'm so happy I found my post Tarkov game. Stopped playing 2 wipes before the controversy. Game was in a bad place, hackers everywhere, game ran like shit, and it was year 7, since alpha. 😅 This game is incredible and it's only gonna get better!

Thanks for the video well done. I’m on Xbox x and only have one issue on 14 hours gameplay. The issue occurred after I saved and came back and could no longer run. Nothing crazy just went to the previous save. Looking forward to more updates.

Despite it's bugs and there are a few, the atmosphere is amazing. Fighting bandits with lightning strikes feet away is just next level. With a bit of polish it will definitely be one of the greats.

I like playing on series S. I do have some frame rate drops here and there especially around slag heap with npcs running around during emissions. But i dont have very many issues. The A life needs a update for sure because the random encounters are not as dynamic as the old stalker games im sure theyll fix it. This game is awesome though, i really love it and im sinking hrs into it. About 25 hrs deep so far. So i am liking it alot and the fact they're committed to the game and fixing stuff. I give them a much bigger amount of grace cause this game is really cool. Thryll fix things im sure.

i Have had multiple Crashes. I have also had multiple Quests Completely break the game and have become incompletable. I have had Cutscenes with no Ai in it but the voice acting was there,(Kinda Wacky). This game at the moment is a complete bug fest. I fully support the game and developers through working on this game. The Economy of the game buy/sell/repair is not balanced by any means which is where I myself is most upset with the game. having 94/100% Armor should not cost 12k because i have 1 upgrade on it lol. You stand in radiation your gear wears down. You get shot gear/weapons loose durability. You run through a bit of water you lose durability on all gear again. You step into a fire anomaly for 1 second, lose 2-3% durability on all gear. When you Factor in how much you gear wears down to how much it takes to repair/rewards for selling gear and quests rewards it not sustainable. Hopefully the devs address this at some point. Just my thoughts on the game at the moment. Love it though.

I'll admit that I play on the easy difficult but it still challenging and I love that ammo are sacred and gotta be careful how much you carry lol I hope they can add player stash to hold all items or maybe even cooler is new game plus

great experience playing on quality mode on Series X. almost 40 hours in still my only complaint is the spawning but even worse is the no deadzones on the controller. i am forced to put aim assist on default while normally i like that off. and also cannot use scopes for headshots. it sucks

Agree. The best game I've played in the last 10 years, and I play a lot of games. It's unforgiven, mercyless, frustrating at times... but damn!... it has such a great feel. This is what the next Falout game should aspire to be.

Just got softlocked trying to talk to prof as well as getting locked out of defending a major settlement and am now locked of allot of content from the lesser zone😢 other then this one huge major soft lock into a terrible decison 10/10 im just gonna keep going with all the worst possible choices as im locked in now😂

But why do pistols do more damage than rifles in Stalker2? What happend to NVG and flashligfht only having 5 meters range and NPC only dont see you when they are scripted to have their back turned to you but randoms at night always see you. And wth is that repair economy

Exclusives are dying it is good for gamers when everybody can play the games no matter what box you are on nobody should have sent for a company although I do think that if Xbox is giving PlayStation games PlayStation needs to give Xbox more games 1998 go and dish out games instead of getting exclusivity cuz that's what PlayStation is beginning in the last couple of years is exclusivity best because I thought it was kind of stupid when Silent Hill 2 came out and it's exclusive to the PlayStation on a timed exclusivity

Game is awesome, some issues yeah but nothing game breaking. There are some memory leaks, not just vram but regular ram aswell. Overall runs great with dlss magic at 4K on a 4090. And it looks damn good with HDR on a LGC4 42.

That's odd. I'm on Series X. I've not had a single bug or glitch in nearly 40 hours of play. Also that much talked about stutter entering camps has occured only once. I've had a beautiful experience and I also think it's easily the game of the year.

I can second this, I got it on series x as well and the frame rate is awful, does NOT go above 40fps as well as AI being a mess, it’s like they have some kind of psychotic episode looking everywhere else other than the player when going into an interaction, and that’s just 1 example.

@dannyopenshaw3337 I'm on X, and I've had problems when moving the camera, stutter and janky. The lighting is bad, the A Life is completely broken (which the Devs admitted). They removed Binoculars and NVGs along with plenty of others, with the Binoculars being the most egregious seeing how they were INTEGRAL to the original games. The reason most likely being so we don't look out and realize there is NOTHING going on outside of your immediate area. However with the multitude of issues this game has, I can see the absolute gem underneath it all and I know that after some time, patches and mods this game is going to flourish. I hope for the best because ik this game can be a masterpiece.

It's annoying to run around through the same looking forests, and if u wanna make some money u'll gonna be doing that while encumbered and have to run back to towns to sell them even if u don't need to go there for anything else, i'd honestly prefer to have some fast travel points around the map

Play on series x had armor glitches where one armor look like bread icon and another armor I looted off a guard in garbage zone 2 helms and 2 armors dropped better then what I had looted it and I was heavy regardless of weight lol.

The reason it is not on PlayStation at the moment which they don't know when it will arrive I do know that Xbox actually personally moved the developers out of Ukraine and what made the game exclusive for the Xbox like I said they don't have a date or an estimation on when they will move it to PS5

Playing on Series S,loving the game. 16 hrs in,haven't even left the Lesser zone🙈 I switched providers and could've gotten a free PS5 or Switch,but I already have a PS5 and now the Xbox. And I'm not complaining. With the studio having this background and still being able to produce this game,I don't mind a few bugs/glitches. Can't wait to resume the game😅 Have fun playing the game!

I think a lot of people are forgetting what was in the original games and what was in the anomaly mod! Also, from my understanding, the game is releasing on PlayStation in February. Microsoft just has a release exclusivity

I'm on Series X nd I've had some bugs, like after an emission the framerate drops and I had to reload a previous save, and 20% of the time the framerate is not ideal. Other than that, it's one of the most enjoyable games I've played this year.

7800x3d with 4070ti super running at 1440p ultrawide. High with Epic textures, DLSS Quality, and Frame Gen. Getting roughly 120fps with no input issues. Could drop frame gen and get roughly 80, but I find UE5 feels best at 100+. Might just be me though. Remember if you're running frame gen, you need a solid 60fps without it as a base, otherwise you will see input delay and other issues when it drops down below that 60fps base

Nothing takes away from the fact they sold a game at AAA prices, for the ultimate version it was getting close to double AAA pricing for pre-ordering and they released it very broken and not finished. This is completely unacceptable and I say that as someone who was hyped for the OG back in 2000 when it ended up being delayed for years. It will be good for sure but it has been released and sold in an unfinished state and that should not ever be excused imo
