The english voice acting in this game reminds me of the second Metro Exodus DLC, Sam's Story. Steve Blum or not, hearing someone speak with an american accent in post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe feels pretty jarring.

THere's Ukranian voice option in Stalker 2 - really nice, and also hilarious if you speak Ukranian/Russian. Too bad English version doesn't get flavour of all those native dialogs 😂

Idk about that DLC feels like it should be English but the dubbing sounds weird, like Sam is American afterall (yes I know he „forgets it“ kinda cause 20 years no English, even tho it’s still very much possible to remember a language, especially your mother tongue regardless of how long you haven’t used it). and there’s like American NPCs

How did you perform the stealth takedown from behind with the knife? Is there a certain prompt or button to push? I've never been able to perform a stealth kill from behind in this game yet. The stealth seems mostly broken.

Plus, it'll give me time to finish SOC and play the other two games while they also patch the game up. New Stalker player here, havent played the Game that long yet. How do you do Stealth Kills? Do you just sneak up from behind and press the attack button? And how do you peak around the corners? I only do it when I'm close to a door or wall

@@Nazukio yeah - i tried it though and it’s really hard to heal in a pinch that way. I say healing and food are more important as leaning can happen automatically and contextually without pressing anything so long as you’re aiming down sights near a wall or object and slide to the corner you would peak. It happens automatically if aiming down sights just like cyberpunk and bo6

Stealth is really compromised. Enemies can see you from miles away. The enemies have hails of grenades. And other things that bother me, like how the hell someone gets shot in the head and manages to make a noise of pain (which by the way isn't low at all), and also how an NPC dies and drops his weapon every time. What I mean is that the studio had its difficulties due to the war, but I expected more polish in the game.

Supressor make zero noise, IA can't see you even if you are in there field of vision (if you see their eyes, they can see you), They can't see you from a long distance, When a stalker died, nobody ear it, nobody care, They don't see the flashlight even if you pointed the light at them, You can walk normaly (and not slowly) to stab them, The game as adapted for casual player, I hoped this is only because the difficulty was in easy.

After 15 plus hours I can tell you stealth is very iffy sometimes it works and the guy will have no idea your there. Other times he will spot you in complete darkness through the forest and snipe you with a grenade from 400 meters away.

Because its realistic. The AI detects everything just like a human. Sounds, Light, Vibrations.... Etc. Hell they even have variation of hunting you when you hunt them. Some flank, when you are too engaged in a certain direction. Some try to melee you or shotgun you to death if you aren't checking behind. They will throw grenades if they know you are in a narrow area or if you are stuck in a room.

Hyper aware enemies that can see you, almost immediately through terrain and buildings at any distance, while aggroing every enemy in the area that knows exactly where you are.
