Having the large overlays for the anomalies combined with the 3d-terrain does not look like a great combination.

I do feel there is a lot going on on the board but I can't think of another way to do it and allow the anomalies to move around with specific places. But yes there is a lot going on.

Finally some gameplay from the actual game! Great video and good attempt! I really like the actual mission gameplay, while I'm not really sold on the Zone exploration phase as I find it too simplistic ...hoped they added more "layers" to the actual travel through the Zone, but it seems the exploration is limited to just choosing and resolving a sticker each turn. Anyway can't wait for my copy to arrive 😊😊

This is the first mission and zone layout. I should have talked a little more of what opens up if I would have won. There are some cool things that happen in all aspects of the game but 90% of this game is the mission for sure

Good attempt! With all these somewhat complex games, I'm glad I have a few that are more relaxing on the brain. LOL. I'm out of shelf and floor space, so am slightly worries about where I'll put all these boxes when they deliver.

It doesnt feel like you need to hide. All enemies were beaten out easily and its kinda strange that they cannot see someone sitting next to them diagonialy. I almost felt sorry about the bad guys.

Well to be fair I rolled unbelievably well. There was so reason I should have done that well against that many enemies I replayed the mission after I recorded it and I got demolished so fast using the same tactic. I need to be more sneaky lol!!! 😃😃👍

Yes my dice were on fire!!!! I was planning on going stealth at the beginning but kept taking them out so fast. Sorry I wasn't able to show how stealth can make a difference. I know there are other play thoughs coming that will probably illustrate that better

My intuition (not having read the rules or played the game) is that the artifact would make it so it always counts as minimum 4 radiation level for that character wherever they are.

Yes you will always have the radiation level of the highest artifact in your possession those containers are really helpful!!! 😃😃👍

@@MeetMeAtTheTable btw. You are totally forgetting your characters abilities. First turn Borsuk moved into radiation and his ability would prevent it. You also seem to have forgotten that milady can sneak 😃 Or.. I’m missing something. I don’t have the entire picture Edit: oh! Never mind! 😆

@@MeetMeAtTheTableI think you skipped enemy activation cards in round 2 and 3? Edit: I see what’s happening. If there are no enemies you skip it. Once again. I haven’t read the rules. But since that’s how hidden enemies are flipped, are you sure you skip the activations? Maybe it says if there are no enemies, but hidden enemies would be considered enemies for that?

Great to finally see the game "in the wild"! Btw, those two bandits that appeared in the electro anomaly, shouldn't they get zapped by it instantly? Or is it only if they moved? And the jellyfish, red dot and the gun you got, don't those go to the players backpack first and then you use "prepare" to equip them? So you are not forced to eat rads by finding an artefact. Could we get a session of the Zone Survival mode please! I would love to see that one in action.

Thank you yes it was great to get the game to the table. The guys that spawned from what I can tell only get zapped when they move. Also yes the things should go to the backpack but when you first get them I believe you can equip them for free at that moment. I could be wrong about both of those things so might want to check with an expert. Sorry if it was wrong. As for the zone part I may bring it back out after everyone gets a chance to play it. There are not many missions and a lot of spoilers in that part of the game. Thanks for the great comment and thanks for watching 😃😃👍

@TheLazyFinn you can select places to visit that have a book of scripts associated with them that will give your group other unlocks that you will have access to hope that helps

Yes the zone phase is where your group interacts with others and you can find/recruit other stalkers to use. And get more items weapons and gear there are three tiers of gear that can help you as you go forward
