Just FYI. That little box with "impotenz" on it is a pack of cigarettes. The laws in Europe and the UK say packaging cannot have things like logos and elements of the brand, so to make smoking less glamorous. Instead packing are all fairly uniform with only plain colours, a health warning and an accompanying picture related to the warning.

Yeah images include middle aged women on life support, mouth missing most teeth and only having a few tar-stained ones left, half formed fetuses.... None of it works, Benson and Hedges don't suffer as a result. Addiction is more powerful than gross-out imagery.

@@Dripularstein Similar mod mentioned by Seth on the review. Basically is combines every map on 1 big game and makes a lot of improvements to both the engine and gameplay itself. It improves the survival and gun play aspects, and even gives some fixes to the AI which is a very interesting aspect Seth failed to mention about.

Something about this series is that a lot of people, like Seth, still believes the difficulty myth where enemies die faster on higher difficulties. This is false and easy to dismiss, and there was never evidence of the contrary.

STALKER is great just avoid the stand alone mod "STALKER anomaly" cuz that unfaithful as hell to the core games and tries to be a poorly slapped together milsim more then a psychological survival horror and there is hell controvery about those devs basically stealing most of their code from other mods. A good place to start with the games is to either use the "COMPLETE" modpacks tho you will lose some content in the first game that way and a much better way is the ZRP aka. Zone Reclamation Project which is basically a fan patch project that did a wonderful job of fixing issues and increasing stability without being tempted to force some bad pseudorealism or other nonsense into the game its basically untouched vanilla+QOL experience. There are lot of stand alone mods too with the notable being winds of time which has a bad following despite its english translation not being fantastic and its very deserved , i just played it recently and its very mindfucky but good mindfucky. WOT is basically a mini sequel and out of all the mods its the only one thats actually faithful to the games outside call of chernobyl (which is just the 3 games slapped together in an open world sandbox) and doesn't just try to force really badly put together "realism" and attempts to turn it into a really bad dayZ or shit like that.

The reason why it seems that the bullets disappear is because they're projectiles, not hitscan, not only that, but they're subject to the physics of the quality of the weapon itself. And at the beginning, you only have shit weapons. So no, your bullet did not disappear, its just overtly realistic.

Yep. A lot of guns on this game have very low accuracy and range compared to the real ones too, but that seems to be directly tied to the fact that you cannot easily find top tier well mantained weapons. Spray and pray only works at low range, and you are asking to die there.

The pack of cigarettes is from denmark, the text basically says "Smoking increases the risk/odds of impotence". According to my sources Sseth lived in Denmark for a period of time and is well acquainted with another danish youtuber.

Nate and Nick. At 9:42 all the cigarettes in central and eastern europe has those type of shit. It's basically a warning for what will happen if ya tobacco addicted and serves as disencourigement. The warnings differ for each negative shit that is a cause of tobacco addiction.

I do have to call out Sseth and 90% of stalker playerbase. You can just run by the machinegun in the cordon in clear sky or run into its blindspot and massacre everyone in the outpost. If you spend a bit of time in the swamp doing the faction war, you will also get the fancy clear sky armor super cheap and that can last you the entire game , its stats and upgrades are just that good. You can also get better weapons by exploring swamp like the VSS vintorez sniper which is usually engame weapon in the series or an AK
