One day I was minding my own business, hunting, when all of a sudden I turned because I heard a noise. There in all his majestic glory was the moose. I just stood there with my mouth hanging open. I didn't know what he was able to do on Pilgrim. He also just stood there like he was confused. He started huffing and puffing and everything I knew of before they starts a charge..pawing at the ground..huffs warning noises. He stops dead and looks like a naughty child before throwing a fit and off he stomps like he really wanted to stomp me. He was quite put out 😂❤❤

I've been to Miner's Folly twice since the refresh and both times the bear only showed up after I'd killed the moose, so it may have been designed that way as a trap for the unwary.

Idea for cooking when you don't have anything else to do: sleep. Put the meet on the barel stove, and sleep for one hour. It is not as efficient as 12 hour sleep regarding health regeneration, but if you are good with health, but tired, just cook and sleep in one hour increments.

I found a 4th woodworking toolbox! Doing the Buried Echos storyline, there was one just inside the mine entrance from the concentrator bridge. This is separate from the one inside the concentrator.

Aurora moose should be aggressive to cars. Imagine hearing a moose stomping a car flat in the middle of the night. Crunching metal, car alarm going off, crashing glass. Amazing.

58:16 Yeah a LOT of former bad base locations are now MUCH better due to the new spawning mechanics and Safehouse Customization. I can tell that one location you like with that hut that's classified as outside with the hole in the roof would be EVEN BETTER than before.

I like Climbers Cave area. On interloper there are wolves in that area now though, but I don’t mind. I encountered a moose on that small pond too and he seemed extraordinarily aggressive. Charging me in the cave 😮

1:09:37 the bear and moose can definitely soawn together up there. I was tracking far to the left to avoid the bear and heard some grunting, turned around to find the moose lmao also idk if it was the case previously, but you can have 2 moise spawns in one run in ash canyon. I had the climbers cave one and a few days later is when i found the miners folly moose

I fell victim to hubris and didn't follow protocol of traveling during the day on my new loper run. Left anglers den headed for gold mine as the sun was setting on about day 40. Right as I was going up the climbing section of the waterfall an aurora started. I saw the wolves dissappear and tried to make it to the cave before their replacements came... to no avail (I had forgotten to just drop my torch and ready my bow so I couldn't shoot in time)

I really think there should be an official difficulty that has weather just as bad as interloper, but has the high quality clothing available in the world. As things are now, you never get to test the best clothing on the hardest weather, seems like a miss. Thankfully I can do this in custom at least.

I ate animal fat when I first got it and got food poisoning, so I can confirm that is a thing lol it was even on Pilgrim!

It does give you food poisoning, and my experience is that it’s fairly likely to give it. Seems to be around 10-20 percent based on the 20 pieces I ate. I’ll eat more to get a better metric

hey i dont know if you ever said this or not but something i've always done with a storm Lateran is i use the first start up flashes to help navigate in the dark

I used to do it, but since doing that still consumes fuel I stopped doing it. It takes too long. Works, though.

you need to go far away (from its last location before you enter the house around it cave should be enough) for it to spawn in that last location

Hey Zak, something I noticed today in my own run but I'm not sure if it was a fluke. I had a bunch of ruined fish but wanted to load my travois. I clicked "move all" to travois on accident and the fish didn't disappear even though they were ruined. I panicked and took them out immediately, but the same thing happened when I moved all to a refridgerator. Maybe that's one way to offload a ton of ruined meat without losing it to the mysterious TLD trash demon that lives in all containers?

Excuse me, but who can tell, what to do? All my games now have a 3 or 4 fps in menu, also in a game. Driver is updated. Windows is in process of updating. All of it occurred when I played the long dark, and my computer went to dark screen. All else is working, seems at least. I am sorry for comment of topic.

Same happened to me after updating. Restarting the PC as well as the game fixed it for me. This 'lag' happened quite a few times though after restarting both PC and game over the course of a few days it went away.

@@Андрей-у3ш6в Might be faulty hardware, maybe the graphics card isn't working properly. There are websites that can check if everything is working as intended. Can't name them rn but just Google smth around the lines of hardware tester. Oh and Slava Ukraini
