@@mitchand9 We all know the law and the 'fruit's of the poisonous tree' BS. Doesn't make it right. It's a ridiculous rule and doesn't have to be agreed with, just coz some numpty thought it up yrs ago and scrawled it in a law book. This predator was clearly guilty, had raped and murdered two women, that we know of! If it weren't for this detective, we (and more importantly, the victims families) might never have known what happened to or got their daughter's remains back. Who cares about a rule when the bigger, more important issue at hand is addressed? The fact he could have got away with two rapes and murders coz of said rule, makes it all the more imperative that it should be scrapped altogether.

A trustworthy, experienced police officer's instinct should be supported & facilitated. He could have been issued with wires so the conversation was still recorded. Christopher offered up the evidence of his own free will & made no complaint about Fulcher. Fulcher, I hope you retired on a full pension. You don't deserve to have that taken away from you. From a situation awareness front: Never go in a taxi with a male cab driver. Taxis attract male sexual predators and killers. Once the woman is in the car ,she is trapped with a stranger. Plenty of licensed taxi drivers have attacked women. We should assume every man is an attacker . Yes, it means that we need to be picked up by trusted relatives etc or we just don't go to the nightclub. Even in my home town there are reports of male sexual predators.

I feel bad for Becky. The only reason the police found her dead body was because of Sian.

Why not put the victims name instead of the killers on the title?

Glad that you guys are creative and you narrate the videos. But sometimes your voice is too low. It's gotten better, but at the end it went down a bit. Other than that, great videos

In TV shows the detective can do anything to get evidence and a conviction, unfortunately in real life there are rules

It jeopardizes the case and charges against the assailants. If you do not follow what the law states of how to conduct suspects. Unfortunately it can then be turned out in the courts that can put the investigators into questioning.

There are certain protocols need to be followed look up PACE (police and criminal Evidence act) 1984 it’s for fairness and protection of persons in police custody and actually for all concerned, as if information not fairly and justly obtained the evidence is not admissible in court. This guy was brave and put the victims family ahead of himself, he would have known there would be some serious repercussions- it’s hard to criticise him as he believed she may be alive. It’s a tough one but he could have jeopardised the whole case this killer could of gone free. But he meant well

Good on you, U.K. A literal life sentence. The best punishment of all. Living Hell. Here in N.Z. a crook has to kill over 50 people in a terrorist act to get a sentence like that. All our other scumbag murderers are back out on the streets, still in their prime.
