Great video as always guys!!! Stalled out builds is one thing I don’t have. If I start to struggle, I just embrace the frustration, push my way through it, and then when it’s done I can hate the build as a whole 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks guys!!

Good stuff guys. Stalled projects yup. Failed projects, no such thing. They just morph into something else. Luka could use a rear view mirror to keep an eye on Felix! lol

This will probably sound silly but I think it would be cool if Luka would get his channel logo turned into a model kit. A drag racing skull would be an awesome looking display piece
@TheLukaCeeChannel2 жыл бұрын
That would be cool. It kinda already is. It was a model that was used for inspiration when my dad drew it for me. I'll be doing a video on it one day.

Thanks for the two mentions in the video. I have a few stalled projects but haven’t had any I have thrown away. The stalled projects are stalled as I get to a point to do custom fabrication and if I screw it up, then some of the kit parts are worthless. So I need to have a second kit, however the kits I’m using are for 1:1 replica builds and the kits are not cheap, like the 1:12 Lindburg Fiat Dragster.

I think Tamiya TS23. Light Blue might work if you want to do one of Terry Labonte's Piedmont cars

I was thinking that too. 🤔 I know it's very popular for Petty Blue. Heck, Dale Inman was the crew chief of the 44 car.

Paint the body first and put it away to cure while you work on other models. This will give you time to work out problems with the model and you won't get the project "burnout"

Don't have stalled builds, problem is I have so many ideas that usually half way through, I am already thinking 2 builds ahead. So once it's 90% done and I see my vision. I start another one and wind up cannibalizing the first one for parts....

Great show, as usual. Love the Chevy pre-runner. We don’t have a whole lot of desert racing here in NY…..so they’re really cool for us. My biggest stalled kit is an AMT ‘70 Chevelle turned into an 80s street stock dirt track car. All I have left to do is finish the bumpers and add screen mesh into the window…but two years on it’s still in the box. Lol
@heidihobear2 жыл бұрын
Actually I think this helped me because I have so many kits where the body is painted but nothing else. Then I lose steam to finish it. It’s funny when I was in a club I got a lot more done. Now that I’m not in a club or a group I don’t get any thing done or finished
@BGsModelWorkshop2 жыл бұрын
No dead lines? No finished builds. I get like that also. That's why I started joining in on KZbin group builds. Really helped me get stuff built and thin out the stash.
@deepjunkgarage2 жыл бұрын
Well ......... Stalled projects are usually the product of me building slow as molasses....and there may seem to be multiple stalled projects because I have 6 or 7 going at once......couple that with my slow building style and minimal bench time and you get what looks like allot of disappointment ..... and it's really not because I bury all my disappointment deep, deep Inside. 🤣

You need to make your channel logo into decals Luka, I need it for my own gasser in 1/24 or 1/25...."Engine by Luka Cee Engineering", "Sponsored by Luka Cee's Speedshop".... Failed kits, I've just put aside a 1/35 kit because it crumbled on me, I have noooo idea why it did it, sooooo....I dug out one of the AMT '40 Ford coupes that I've got! Well, I'm off to search for that elusive building mojo, some say that it is more of a legend, myth, than the Holy Grail and Ark of the Covenant! Hopefully this '40 Ford will be the answer! 😉😆😉🤞🏻
