I received an eye shadow palette as a gift, & had no idea what to do with them since I'm not an eye shadow lover. Thank you for this technique!! And thank you for supporting other human beings, braving the hateful comments that come your way. I just love your whole self!

Gina, you are a delight to watch! I have really enjoyed watching you since you've been using your home studio. I just love these cards. They are so different and turned out great. Congratulations! I was a redhead so I only used brown and bronze colors. Now, my hair is white! Thank you for sharing with us while you experimented with your old eye shadow. See? It did come in handy. You are such a pleasure to watch. I love your personality!!!

Thank you for this video, I really like this technique and couldn’t wait to try it! So I created 2 pieces, black card stock, using Dollar Tree powdered eye shadow. They came out nice but the powder seemed unstable- coming off on my fingertips when I touched it. I decided to try to seal it. I reached for my can of Kamar spray varnish and sprayed (outside) and it was a big mistake, it ruined my piece. It took all color away and left messy sparkles only. For the 2nd card, I grabbed good old fashioned Aqua Net hair spray, and it worked PERFECT! So if you want to seal them, aerosol hair spray does the trick!

LOL The dollar store would be a perfect place to look!! These are amazing cards and just so much fun!! Thanks for sharing YOU with us and for being so genuine, true, and sweet! You are LOVED!

Gina, this technique is great. I have an old set of eye shadows similar to yours that I've had for years and years. I have used it now and then to add color to different areas of my projects. But I never thought of using them like this to make a patterned and colorful background. Using on the deep rich colored card stock is genius. I'm excited to try this technique. I was really rather surprised and excited to see how much of an impact there is using the embossing ink with stamps. Simply stunning. Thank you so much for sharing and for all you do!

I’ve been using eye shadow on cards for years lol. Usually for colouring in stamps. I don’t wear makeup very much and I saved all the old eye shadow I was given as a kid. Us crafters love to recycle hehe

I have an Ocean 44 bracelet, also. My God-Daughter bought it for me for my 60th birthday. It is one of my most loved gifts, because she knows me well enough to know how I'd love it. I loved them all, but I think the teal was my favorite. I am going through my makeup tomorrow! Thank you :)

There are a few of us left that don't do social media:-(. Yes, I am one of those but always so eager to see new things. Many thanks and I am so grateful for the good conversation that accompanies these Stamp and Chats. Have a wonderful evening and be safe.

You go girl. Keep on being you! I got rid of all my colored eye shadows and use only browns. Might need to go buy a cheap set. I have the brushes. These are stunning. Makes me want to go through all my stamp sets cause as long as I've been stamping I know I have stamps that will work. That last one you did on the red was the most stunning card and I would put a sentiment in the middle. Oh my. Can't wait to show this to my zoom friends when we get together Wednesday. I always learn so much from you.

(1st off, I apologize for such a long comment. I was writing & watching at the same time as you were showing everything.) Oh I just loved the 1st 1 you did. It looked so soft & delicate, perfect for a birthday or get well card...or any card💕. The wild blossom card is another fav-paper color, stampset, & shadow combos. The cranberry tart looked like it had been "flocked" after you stamped it-so gorgeous. & what a great tip for making a die cut template; I'm adding that to my must do list. After I retired, I knew there was some reason I didn't toss all my makeup; I just needed someone to tell/show me why. & I'm so thankful you did. PS After all the sheltering in place is reduced or eliminated, I hope you have time to continue these videos. Altho I can't watch live stream, I am so appreciative that I can watch late nite on YT as hubby deals with nite time med issued. Thank you so very much for all you're doing for cardmakers like me.🙏 (Don't do FB so rely on your YT).
