I am just getting started using the Stamperia molds. What a great tutorial. I've only watched videos where it takes a lot of their medium and they usually only get 2 or 3 moulds per jar. This is a great money saving idea. Will definitely try. Thank you for sharing, Pam.

I just bought a bunch of these Texture Impression molds and yes, I bought 3 jars to start off with of their paste in order to completely cover as recommended. The paste is too expensive for the amount you need so I can't wait to try this technique. I've never heard of this before so thank you! This looks like a $ saving tip. You've just gained a new follower.

These moulds could make a stamp effect for the gel plate couldn't they? Hmm, I'm thinking stencils, light moulding paste, gel medium, could make a large stamp, do u think it could work??? Great video thanks!!❤

Hi, thank you for this fab video! I have been collecting these lovely moulds for s while now & tried today for the first time without success, so I came to KZbin to find out what I did wrong lol. It turns out that the only thing I did wrong, was to be impatient. Next time, I will definitely leave for 24 hrs before removing 😉 Anyway, good news is that I found your channel. Oh, do you have any tips on how to clean my mould after my disaster? Jane x
@QueenPam4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. I have not have to clean a mould but I'd try soaking it in Murphy's Oil Soap and water. This gets paints off of stencils.
@UandMeGod3 жыл бұрын
Thank you SO much I was searching for someone on KZbin who could show me how to use the Stamperia molds because I am wanting to get a couple of them and not have to buy there very expensive paste creams but wanted to know what I could use in its place that is more affordable? So its light molding paste you used right? I think I actually have some already too!!
@QueenPam3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. It is light molding paste and tissue paper with Matt Medium. I live this method a lot.
@redshoesgirl4 жыл бұрын
is matte medium the same thing as mod podge? i have been struggling with the stampieria molds, SO expensive to only use cream paste. i've tried silicone caulk from the hardware store with mixed results. acrylic caulk - oh my, took me more than an hour to get all that out of my mold. there just has to be a less expensive way to use these great molds. i do mixed media, or i should say i am trying to do mixed media. would there be a problem only using one layer of tissue? i would like to have a thinner piece to adhere to boxes or ATCs. this is a real game changer for me. i was ready to dump these molds! thank you so very much.
@QueenPam4 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure the Mod Podge is the same thing. You could try it to see.. I have not tried one layer of tissue. But the 2 layers of tissue is pretty thin when applying. If you try that please let me know your results. I can't wait to see what you make.
@pedrazwemmer3803 жыл бұрын
Thank you voor the tips!! 🥰 But one question, What is the product Matt medium? Do you mean mod podge?
@QueenPam3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. No it is not Matt Medium. It is an acrylic paint medium that is matt and dries completely. Mod Podge is sometimes sticky even when dry.
@iramadloh6458 Жыл бұрын
i know this is a old video but could you use caulk (stuff to put around windows) to fill the mold? have you tried the silicone molds they use for clay? great video
@QueenPam Жыл бұрын
I have tried caulk and it was too sticky during the process. I didn't even finish it. Thanks for watching and subscribing! I love silicone molds especially the ones by Zuri. I usual use epoxy resin the fast setting kind in them. But you have sparked an idea.
@iramadloh6458 Жыл бұрын
@@QueenPam TRY a hot glue on the zuri molds ya just have to get a gun that gets really high temp for good results,,,,you can use the fine point or the next size after practice it really make a good impression and quick ( i just did the mold coat of arms by ZURI)with hot glue,,,,,maybe could use it on the stamperia plastic molds?havent tried it,,,,,

@@iramadloh6458 I have done Hot Glue in the Prima/IOD molds. Thanks for the idea!
@QueenPam Жыл бұрын
@@iramadloh6458 I have done hot glue in the PRIMA/IOD moulds and prefer the hardness of the resin. I am looking for a lighter weight option. I think the stamperia mold would melt...not willing to risk it.

I used the molding paste because of the cost. I had a larger less expense jar. The tissue paper keeps the design in tact/ in one piece and used less product. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for watching.

@@QueenPam I guess we were thinking about how liquefied it is. Looking at the link it looks like you can use 25% distilled water to dilute it which would explain why you have it in a different container right? Thank you for giving us another method. We appreciate you!

@@milady3d No mine has not been diluted nor has water been added. I put it in the Dawn bottle because it is easier to use that way. I wonder if your matte medium is matt gel. Mine is pourable straight out of the original container. I just like the Dawn bottle better.

like i mentioned on your other video, it took two full days to dry including hanging on the clothesline in the hot sun. both mold i have are fairly deep so that is probably why it took so long and i may have put a wee bit too much.
