Just checked out this Album. I use tyvek for my binding as well yes it is perfect and I to don't understand why nobody has used it yet on there videos. I started using it few years back now. I like changing it up here and there depending on what binding system I want to use. Isn't it great. Nice job on this Album by the way. I to stay clear from these paper for a different reason just not a fan yet maybe. Nor do I really like Graphic 49 I actually finally bought 3 of there older sets this weekend on my travels that I was on. I'm working on your Amethyst Album right now, I messaged you about missing page 2 and 3 in the instructions. I think it might be my fault I tried printing them on both sides but was having troubles after all said and done I thought it was all there but wasn't. I'm glad I bought extra paper because you never can be that prepared. No worries at all, it worked out because your very good at explaining things. 👍
@ScrapandCoffee2 жыл бұрын
I made a binding once completely out of Tyvek, that worked great, the reason that I don't do it is because its hard for me to get black Tyvek and that is what I use 80% of the time as my base color. I'm glad it's working out for you with the album!

Hi from USA.. How are you? I love all of Stamperia Lady Vagabond papers & Sir Vagabond. I haven't decided which to buy 1st. I will eventually...So lovely project. I'll also need to check out Stamperia acetate..Thanks again.

I just discovered your channel and all I can say is wow! I love how you piece one sheet and make it into 3 or 4 pockets by cutting at an angle. It looks amazing. I will have to check all your postings now. I am in Canada too so thank you for the two companies that sell Stamperia in Canada. The shipping from the US can make the end price prohibitive since our dollar is worth so much less. Where did you get the acetates for Sir Vagabond in Japan I would love to order them and didn't see them on either of the Canadian sellers shops. Thanks for your sharing your wonderful creativity.
@ScrapandCoffee2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! I found it at urbanscrapbook.ca, one of the stores that I linked but I guess they are sold out. Where are you in Canada? Maybe I can send you some from my leftovers.
@pammclennan16422 жыл бұрын
@@ScrapandCoffee I am in Ottawa and thank you for your generosity Yvanca, I went back to that company website and found and ordered the acetates. BTW have you see the Orchids & Cats Stamperia papers? I think you would make a fantastic album with those images.

Beautifully decorated. Question: where did you get the acetate sheets? I have been unable to find them and I also live in Canada.

hi i have purchased the blossom album to make the sir vagabond in japan how many 12x12 and 8x8 and collectibles etc did you use
@ScrapandCoffee2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your purchase! I used 2 packs of the 12x12" I used one collectibles and a few sheets of the 8x8" background collection. With that I place removable white photomats directly on the cardstock to save on paper. You will see me do that in the videos.

In your tutorial are you showing how to use the tyvek for the spine?

I only used Tyvek on the hinge, that I'm showing in the tutorial. You can use Tyvek on the spine as well but since I didn't it's not in the tutorial.

Alweer zo'n prachtig project! Love it! Weet jij misschien welk papier je het beste kunt gebruiken voor deze albums? Ik bedoel het gewicht in gram. Ik gebruik nu 300 gram, maar dat is vrij zwaar. Heb jij enig idee?

Wow, It's beautiful and loved the way you have used the paper where the full images have been cleverly used for the belly band,the dragon, the Mr. vagabond image,the angle pockets with the fish image, geisha etc and the insert 🙂🙂❤❤ Just like you even I feel a bit scared when it comes to using collections like these from stamperia.. 😂😂 One has to put in a lot of imagination to come up with ways to use them making sure that one does justice to them.. 🙂🙂 I must say you've done a great job with this one... 👏👏Love it.. ❤❤Also can you please share the links for purchasing the collection?
@ScrapandCoffee2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Smita! Yes, it can be scary, but like I said once I started and made the first cuts it was surprisingly easy because the collection is so amazing and works together. I'm not sure where you are from but in the description of the video I have 2 links towards Canadian stores where I shop for Stamperia.

Hello, I love your work. Would a beginner be able to make this album?
@ScrapandCoffee2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! To be honest I think this album is a little more advanced, I suggest to try some smaller (free) projects first to get some experience in building and decorating. I think the decorating of this album can be a challenge with all the different layers. It would be a shame if you got discouraged it.
