Such a CUTE CARD, Cindy!! LOVE the tip to measure, measure, measure~~check, n’ fix if needed!! :-)). Having a template for the card layout/cutting/folding, too, is “smart”!!! I always like to do “something” on the inside of a card as well, so I was happy to see this cute “xtra”!! Another nice thing in your video was a “quick recap” at the end! TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! :-))

Don't have a stampin up trimmer, any suggestions on how to cut the DSP on a different type of trimmer?

Hi Pat, You could just mark the two points- on the top and on the right side- and score from one to the other. Then you can just fold it back. Remember to place the patterned paper in place when you fold back the card base so you have a score line- then just trim on one side of the triangle so it can be put on the folded back triangle. I think that should work:)

I'm confused, why did you say the measurement is 3.5 and then you say no thats wrong. Then you say its 3.5 again. Is the measurement 3.5?? I couldn't find the measurements for this card on your blog. Thank you and it is a beautiful card.❤

So sorry for the confusion, Yes it is 3.5, I actually measured it wrong while doing the video and caught myeself...lol. I say...measure twice and cut once so you don't make mistakes. YOU MEASURE 3.5 ON TOP AND SIDE AND THEN CONNECT THE MARKS TO CUT. I was a mess that day but no time to redo video! So sorry that it confused you, Pam. I also updated the measurements on my blog which are for supplies needs not actual step by step directions. The video has the the actual "how to make" the card. Again, so sorry it was confusing...thanks for letting me clear it up:)

@@cindybrumbaugh9496 It looked to me like you didn't have your ruler flush with the top of the paper so you were off a bit....I too was yelling at you, LOL. Beautiful card in fact I'm here today to case it for a friends birthday. I absolute love the lay-out and will make a template for future use. Gotta just love this Butterfly suite! TFS, I'm following you now because you seem to do some great outside the box cards. Makes me happy!

@@katemills9834 Lol, it so awkward when making a video from different angles. The top measurement with the ruler not flush was correct because I was measuring from the right side, it was just that right side down on the open end...marked it at 3-1/4 instead of 3-1/2...finally got it right!
