Thats a great idea! I will try to do it this week. I don't use anything fancy so I have never thought about showing it, but sometimes that alone is helpful! We really don't have to have it all!

hi Karen thanks for the tutorial. i did this box at a class a few years back and lost my template. i found this and was thrilled. i did the class which included a cover to go over the top and stops at the band. Do you have a tutorial for that. ?

Thank you so much for sharing. Nice tutorial. However, as I sat down and made one with you, I am noticing places that could use adhesive. Maybe it just isn't shown on the screen? When bringing the back or spine up, the front could use sticky strip on it to secure it to the sides of the box. Also, there is no adhesive holding the side pieces completely together.

Hi Jennifer, Thank you so much for your comments. I did that video so long ago that it wasn't as detailed as I would do it now. I did add sticky strip anywhere I needed it - you already figured that out! I have made so many of these and everyone loves them.

They hold the standard size cards - 5 1/2'" x 4 1/4" - and the envelopes which are a little larger. Thanks for asking Fransesca!

You are assuming that everyone understands what you are showing. The cutting could have used a little bit more explanation. When you were folding and sticking, it would have been nice to see the entire picture. I messed up not knowing that the end piece should have been folded in first. Now the first attempt is scrap paper. Slow down and explain more. Just not enough details!
