Great card Mary. Happy 4th to you! I also agree about the fireworks. As pretty as they are, it is not worth what some go through on those days. In my neck of the woods it can be every weekend!

When I do birds I tend to check my field guide to see where to put what colors. But sometimes I go completely off the rails and take artistic license. Just did a blue Grosbeak (we don't see them in Wis.) yesterday, using a rose breasted grosbeak stamp. Turned out well and was fun to color !

I really like that bundle. Very pretty card. I grew up in Decatur, GA but have lived most of my 79 years in Nashville. Got to admit I love pinkeye purple hull peas. In this area a lot of people call them crowders. By any name they're delish. Have a great fourth. Jan

Hi Mary! As you just used it, griddish is a word now! Love, LOVE the Bundle & DSP (Uber Cute, esp the little bird track design), will order when back home from vacation in southern France, as soon as I'm "allowed" to order the products. LOVE your card, too. And your coloring, it's great. Little tip: should you want to get rid of feather lines, use the Color Lifter after using the water color pencils. My upline figured that one out. So, as a demo, I can preorder all this loveliness in August - how did you get it? Something I just do NOT understand: so many people dislike or even hate fire works. Can't we just ban them globally?

My cat’s don’t like fire pros at all I feel bad for him them and here in Kansas they extended the firework where people can shoot them off for four extra days 😢

Hi Mary, love this card, why are you using water colour pencils rather than blending pens? I do like seeing the water colour pencils I am just curious.

Thanks so much! And that's a great question. Probably just because I hadn't used them for a while - and when I looked at the DSP birds - the pencils just seemed to be the right thing to use. You could for sure use Stampin' Blends!! :)
