"Hymn Sings" are popping up around the country. Here in Chattanooga Tenn there are two. We meet on Sunday evenings and sing out of the Red Back Hymnal. We sing 3 hymns and rest while we enjoy a solo from someone. 3 more hymns & solo. 3 sets of these and then finish with a special group singing. Great turn out 100-150 each time. People miss the hymns and they still want to sing them!

The Holy Spirit is literally riding on every note. When will the Hymns return to The Church? The lyrics taught us doctrine, even if we weren't avid Bible readers. God forbid, for the sake of " Modernism", they have been taken out of the way and replaced with Contemporary Gospel.
