Dana says- During the last 3 seasons they became increasingly hostile, but prior to that they got along very well and there were lots of rumors (some spread from people who actually worked on Castle) that while they were never truly boyfriend/girlfriend, that they did have an on again, off again affair (in between his off and on dating others and her off and on dating Kris.) Dana says- No, her parents are from Croatia (The Dalmatian Coast), she visits the area often and even got married there, so she has very strong ties to that region. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada just like the video said. She also spent some of her time living outside of Chicago, IL. She has dual citizenship in Canada & the USA (also like the video said).
