There was no yellow line when I was a teenager. We were told that a train going past could Suck you Off. How disappointed we all were....

The strong yellow line on the platform to keep passengers away from the platforms edge is a wonderful idea albeit decades late.........

If you're ever in Galway station Ireland . It has the yellow line and warning signs. Keep behind the yellow line when trains are passing.. repeated on every lamp post . ......... However it's a terminus. . ( But to be fair only has been for the last 20 years)

Of course, they will not be Mary T. Wojtyla hit by a train engine on August 1991. If Wonder Woman used her magic lasso rounding up Mary and her lawyer making sure these two keep their distance until the train goes by.

@@mikeroberts5646 This I use such an example reference explaining how Wonder Woman uses her magic lasso helping them truthfully stop themselves. Mary's Lawyer: Thanks Wonder Woman saving us hit by that passenger train. Wonder Woman: Remember Mary, when there is a train coming since you did not see the black dress woman stop, you stop and wait until the train goes by. Mary: I am so sorry Wonder Woman! I felt I had a nervous breakdown rushing with my lawyer.

You can only get hit by a train engine if it somehow leaves its mountings, whether underslung on a unit, or within a locomotive.

That was only doing about 50mph, the non stop London - Brighton service went through stations at 70+, that was before the yellow lines, many busy stations had a platform beside all tracks. There was a Tannoy announcement, if one could understand the muffled announcer.

Here around Berlin, there are quite some platforms of similar size, where trains pass by with speeds of around 200 km/h or even more. But German passengers are used to that.
@manomaylr7 ай бұрын
Definitely 100+ mph.
@grahamallen19707 ай бұрын
50! Try and double that take length of coach ....take a given point timeout took to pass that point do some maths....=speed! 50mph would of been twice as long vid

@@grahamallen1970 correct - the line speed in the area is 110 so that’s likely to be close to the Voyager’s speed there
