@@blankname6629 this is funny. I got blasted for suggesting the Bears go hard after Trey Smith and another FA o-line. KC WILL NEVER LET AN O-LINE WALK! I told him they’re almost at the cap and only have 37 players under contract so they may not have a choice. He proceeded to call me an idiot, they would cut a defensive player. Like cutting an average defensive guy is covering Smiths expected $20m contract plus 15 players to get to 53 man roster.

I’m sorry we don’t need to draft D’Andre Swift 2.0 and that’s what either Etienne or Smith sound like. Jeanty reminds me of Beast Mode and his pro Ladamian Tomilson. I also like Omarion Hampton out of UNC who’s compared to Josh Jacob’s and Trevon Henderson whose pro comparison is David Montgomery. To make our own version of Sonic & Knuckles. Honestly, offense are going to start going the other way with more run oriented or at least more balanced game plans. I’m more interested in a power back.

Exactly,it’s not 1980 anymore. The use and value of RBs in the draft is drastically different than the days of RBs regularly taken in the top 10 picks.

Jeanty is a stud, just the type of RB Johnson likes. He’s rated higher than any RB that’s come out in at least 5 years. He passes the eye test, the film test, and has the numbers to back it all up. RB carries a large load in any successful offense. Offensive schemes are changing as defensive players have gotten smaller. Ebbs and flows my friends
