This is the song that got me through the hardest challenge I've ever faced in life. I survived years a abuse from my mother but I almost broke when someone I should have been able to trust raped me. I reported him but I still had to go into work every day and face the accusing eyes of my fellow employees because they all liked him and thought I asked for it some how. I listened to this song every day on the way to work. It was the only thing that got me trough each shift.

So I dislocated my ankle on February 19th doing gymnastics. My foot was facing towards me and any longer like that I could have stopped blood flow and I would have lost my foot. I just got cleared at the end of June to go back to the gym. Those 5 months off gymnastics was hard. I didn't break any bones which was a Miracle, the doctor said he hasn't seen that bad of a dislocation without any broken bones. But I did tear my ligaments and tissues, but no surgery needed! this is my recovery song! Its been hard coming back. I have PTSD with it now. but im getting there!

just a little back history of my story. it's a lot. I had heroine addicted parents. my twin may have been molested. we both did a lot of hallucinating drugs. she turned psychphrenic at 17. I lost her. she wasn't the same anymore. I got pregnant at almost 20. I did more drugs with him. he was most likely bisexual and a drug addict. mental problems, he was a habitual liar. cheated with underage girls and old men. he was mentally and physically abusive. he got all fucked up and beat the fuck out of me. he left me for dead. he went to my house and wouldn't tell anyone where I was. he beat the fuck out of my moms boyfriend who supported him and our son. he left. I lost my mind pretty much. the state gave temporary custody of our son to him. he left for two years and I had to track him down. I didn't get to see my son. he convinced my son his new wife was his mother while she has bpd and most likely abused my son. I hate myself for what my son is going thru. once I found my son, he left again. he comes back every so often and my son always finds out and never comes thru. he doesn't give me a dime and the one time he did see him in 4 years stole my sons shoes. he is no longer allowed to see my son. he hides from child support. I am litteraly washing clothes to in the bathtub. oh top it all off I thibk my sisters boyfriend lies about my dad saying inappropriate things to my neice. my sister sticks with him ever though he has a drug problem. endangers my neices lives by getting fucked up and driving. doesn't work and hasn't in ten years and she takes his side over our families. my brother is with a whore that I hate so much and she doesn't want him to see his family. I am sure I am missing things but you get the point. this song got me thru a lot of hard times

When my grandson left for the Army; he was so young, it was war time, and he had a strange name. Although he was very handsome. His skin was a different color, and he was persecuted . He wanted brothers; but he had only one, and he was not a manly person. I gave this song to him when he left for his Basic Training at Ft. Benning GA. i love this song, Rascal Flatts will always be a part of my life. ive loved this band for so long they were there when i lost Papa and i have come to them a lot recently. This song is perfect for how much pain i have gone through with only 1 death. i love singing this song it always makes me think of all the good times i had with Papa before he died.

Im 13, ever since i was in the 5th grade i heard that cutting made the pain go away. I was video chatting my friend one night and we both cut for the first time. We bleed so much. the next day we acted like nothing happened. till the security guard found our blades in our coat pockets. I was the only one to go get help from the hospital. she said her cat scratched her. shes the one that helped me cut. im in the 8th grade and now i realize that cutting can take my life. even if everyone hates me

@crazyboutjesus91 Oh my gosh I feel so bad for you and ur mom! I hope everything went alright with ur moms surgery! I think we all have been to this point eventually, but just try to be strong. i fight with my mother all the time over school and attuide and just now i went straight to this song aftger she said i might aswell quit since i quit everything in life.... sometimes i wish she would listen and notice what i do because if i did quit everything i would have quit on her long ago but i didnt want to lose my mom or her love no matter how much it could hurt ='( ='(
