Comedian Trey Wakeman missed his big shot in March 2020 when his set on The Late Late Show was scrapped thanks to the pandemic. But it's been 20 months and he's back. Theres only one problem...it's been a hard 20 months.

I love how meta the concept of him only knowing avout stuff he can perform is. He doesn't know about Trump and Coronavirus, not because he is stuck in the past (he admits to have lived through June 2021), but because he has not had the chance to talk about it in a set. He lives through comedy. Which makes his final epiphany all the more depressing, maybe. Or maybe more liberating?
