I'm really feeling this video. Everybody did a good job, but the ones looking the roughest is more authentic, because that's what they would have looked like in that situation. Again well done to everyone.

I don't think some fully comprehend how amazing our ancestors were, they lived in hell for decades and never gave up the fight for a better future, a future in which many of them didn't live to see. Some in the educational system is trying to stop teaching our kids about their history. The best way to pull a wool over someone's eye a second time is for them not to see you coming. Teach your children what they need to know about our past and don't wait for the schools to do that.

To the women that put weave in their hair or straighten it. You don't understand that struggle if you felt like that was appropriate

Excuse me? They were in a strange land with not many who spoke their language. They would be lynched if they were caught rebelling. You think just because they were men, they could have ended slavery. They had no choice that’s why they were called slaves.

With all the amazingly brave and beautiful black women and men they could have portrait and show honor to they just focus to look "good"? I did not see one of them to pay a tribute to their strong and brave background... Very disappointing 😭. This challenge was not about how beautiful you can look after not being a slave😡. It was about to be proud of your self and your ancestors, to be proud of where you come from and how hard it has been for all of you to have the lifestyle they never did! I didn't not see that bravery and power all beautiful strong and brave black women have shown throughout history.. so sad!!!
