I think this is *much* better than if they had decided to go for a "one library to rule them all" (insert xkcd standards comic here). This way, devs can still choose the library they prefer for defining their schemas without having to worry about what the libraries they consume support under the hood - as long as they support standard schema, then the world's your oyster.

Great initiative. I’ve been a happy Zod user but recently migrated to Valibot which I prefer. Now any library that "still" uses Zod is a pain for me, so this would an elegant solution.
