I am thrilled that you are using a TN right now. When SI had her sale I got my first TN to go in my travelers notebook set I was contemplating using and then someone sent me two of the Moterm TNs and I'm using the exact one you have now and I've needed inspiration so I'm excited to see you use this set up more as I've always loved your ideas and creativity! I will definitely be using the TN for next year as my EDC. it works perfectly as a planner and journal on the go as well as a wallet!

ooh i'm loving this so much! thanks for keeping me company during my overcast afternoon of planning :) I have a question - I've been trying to make mood boards in canva too but I'm never sure how to make them the correct size! Would you be willing to share more on how you do it?

yes!! i've been thinking of trying to do a video or reel on how i make mood boards! but typically i just choose a pre-existing template from canva and go from there. but I am definitely open to making a more detailed video if that would be helpful! 🤍

I absolutely love A Little Life, it is a fave. It is beautifully written and such a great description of the complexity of pain, trauma, love, friendship, humanity, etc. I crave writing like Hanya Yanagihara. I love the way the axiom of equality analogy was used in the book. It depicts the impact of trauma so beautifully. Now I have the urge to reread it, lol.

Love this so much! Do you write notes on scrap paper first then transfer so they’re neat or do you go straight into your planner?

if i am walking/on the go somewhere i will generally jot it down in my phone and then transfer it to my planner later! but otherwise info typically just goes straight into my planner!

this is my second time watching this vid and i came back to say i think it subconsciously influenced me LMAO. since i first got into bullet journaling/planning in a real way 5 or so years ago, i always used an A5. i am currently in a B6 after finishing my common planner at the end of june (the full year...lol.) and i have used a B6 last year too. so, i know i love A5 and can happily be in B6. but....for some reason....the N1 (tn/standard size) Common Planner has been calling to me. i've NEVER used this size before and my rational mind is like, "dude, just get an A5" but i absolutely cannot stop thinking about that size!! it doesn't help that i already have 7 A5 sterling ink notebooks so it feels like a waste of money to spend $60 on another A5 thing, lol. so i'm back watching this vid just to validate my own desires. love your vids as always Lauren! and congrats on making ABD 🎉

@@theoryof.lauren i ended up getting the N1 in mulberry and i’m so glad i did cus they’re already sold out LOL. i also bought monthly booklets from Muji to use with the A5 sterling ink notebooks i already have!! i’m so looking forward to 2025. i used to be a lot less rigid with my planning so i’m hoping to embrace some of that flexibility again. good luck in 2025!!

Lauren, how is the grid in freely noted compared to sterling ink planners? it seems like it's more solid and bigger?

yes the grid is a bit darker and it goes right to the end of the page! i personally really like that, especially for a notebook where I am primarily just writing stuff down and now drawing many elaborate spreads!

I love her notebooks so much. They are so much softer and bendy and don’t feel fussy. Just beautiful paper and a nice grid. I was so excited when my planners came and were super bendy and pliable like hers 😂 it’s the little things.
