Standardbred Retraining Episode 2: Learning to Stand Still

Alfredo is an eager partner, but riding doesn't always mean working. Today we reinforced that even though I am sitting on his back, we don't need to go to work unless asked. Despite being a very easy task physically, Alfredo has a hard time standing still when he thinks its time to work

Thanks! I've found that my training methods differ slightly depending on the horse and its temperament and my facilities! It is interesting to see what works for each different situation 🙂
