Reason matters. If you try to tyrannize yourself on diet or anything else, it becomes hard. If you realize that the reason God counsels us on diet is out of love, now it becomes a gift rather than a burden.

We should not be compromising Bible truth nor should our leaders be allowing open disregard for scripture to be happening. I am so sad everytime I see one our schools openly supporting and promoting LGBT like LaSierra did holding a special graduation for them or our schools hosting LGBT plays and student clubs. This is God's remnant church so why is this allowed? It's hard to listen to this sermon and not see the dichotomy happening between the spoken word and actual actions.

Hi Denise, thanks for listening. Your concern is valid. We want to assure you that actions are taking place. It is necessary first to communicate clearly the position of the church. This has been done through the GC Biblical Research Institute and the recent Reaffirmation statement on LGBTQ issues. These are clear biblical statements to continue to educate the church on this important issue. As far as actions are concerned, local conferences are responsible for the employment of their pastors. In at least two instances that we are aware of, pastors promoting the LBGTQ agenda have been dismissed from their employment. Church leadership is continuing to work with the World Divisions to uphold biblical standards.
