Jumps are a very important part of my power training, and standing long jump, also called broad jump is a very good way to train lower body explosiveness.
Anyway, more than in other types of jumps, in the broad jump, the technique plays a very big role, thus it is very important to focus the training on both leg power and form of execution.
264 is a good beginning, but there's a lot to improve in the technique. In this jump I think I didnt use my legs enough, focusing more on the upper body, in particular arms forward explosion. I need to utilize fully my leg power.
