When I saw you laying out those walls on the ground I though you were nuts but Donovan & Cremona Construction triumphs again with better ideas, better skills and better equipment. Genius to save all that ladder work. Sometime discuss the use of nails versus screws and the proper conditions to use of each one. Telehandler for the win!

I love seeing buildings take shape. Thank you for your blow-by-blow descriptions of what you are doing as you went along. I'll bet you're tired at the end of that day! That's a lot of wood to be swinging around, hammering into place, and climbing ladders up and down. It's coming along nicely.

When I was a kid developers tore down our woods and built houses. All the kids went off and found other things and places….not me. I sat in my backyard all summer watching framing of the houses and road/sidewalk being built. This was the time of hand hammering. It was fascinating and so cool to me. Im so so enjoying your house reno and now the warehouse building.

When I was working for a drywall company years ago building firewalls in town houses we had a development just outside DC. There was a specialty crew that actually built the 5 story townhouses that traveled around the country. They had an old Beer truck (the kind with all the roll up doors on the sides for tools) with fold down sides, generators and roller tables inside to make up an entire saw mill in the truck with a telescopic boom on the back that would raise up and flood the area with light like a baseball stadium. When opened up it had a deck area 24ft x 24ft with hydraulic legs like a backhoe has to support the truck from rolling and cable winches like your saw mill for opening and closing the side decks. I think something like that might interest Donovan for a work truck project.

I live on a suburban block in Australia so the biggest thing I can build is a small tool shed or pergola. To be able to see a construction like this makes me so envious. It would be so cool to able to be able to build something like this. I also subscribe to RR Buildings who do post frame construction and watching you and Donovan doing it the same way is great.
