Follow along to learn about how we teach all our puppies to recall (come here), sit, kennel (place), and whoa (stand still). We introduce each cue in separate training sessions and in this video we work on combining the different cues to challenge our puppy and to teach them we can ask more than one thing before being rewarded. Cue differentiation is an important part of a puppies training!

Is he starting to obsess over shadows here? It’s looking like he’s REALLY distracted by shadows on the floor. Btw, thank you for this series. I have a 12 week old b&w male GSP too (that looks super similar to him!) and following your program is really helpful!

No not obsessed with shadows but he does get his attention pulled by my shoes/feet once in a while (he’s a puppy) you can see him do this in his whoa video as well!

If only people realized how easy it is to train puppies and how puppies are always learning...the good and the bad. You are always teaching your puppy something good or bad like it or not. The bad habits your dog has were all taught by you.

It's even worse having adult GSP's and bring in new baby GSP's to join the herd and they teach them their sneaky antics.

You need to make that dog sit when you tell him. Telling him multiple times creates bad behaviors.
