Two small hits then put on sweat pants and get nervous for three hours 🤣. So true. I smoked absurd amounts of weed all through my teens and twenties, even into my mid thirties. Then at some point a switch flipped and yeah ... it's just not the same anymore. I still do it occasionally, but I gotta be real cautious with it.

Weed is just an enhancer. A lot of us in our 30s (myself included) are not where we want to be in life, and not having a good time anymore. So when you get high you get hit hard with all those feelings of negativity, guilt, sadness, confusion, bitterness. Its rough. I personally can only handle it when I am drinking and its late at night, other wise I will have a panic attack. I will feel like my life is either a sick joke, or that I am going to die.

Life isn't about doing or "being" somewhere or reaching something. I spent my mid 20s up to early 30s having treatment resistant depression. All because of what you said; I wasn't where I wanted to be in life. Then I had a mild spiritual awakening. I realized life is more than about wanting to be somewhere and not getting it. Life is here to challenge all of us. To teach us to look past circumstances and find peace in spite of them. As cliche as this sounds all the joy you're looking for is already within you. There are billionaires who are sad and depressed. There are poor people who are happy and content.

Hah true. Never quite understood why people wouldn't consider it a drug though. I'd call gasoline a drug if you're huffing it. I think people don't want to call it a drug because they narrow the definition of drug to "lab-made intoxicants" or "intoxicants that are terrible for you" or even simply because they want to separate the negative associations of the word "drug" from weed. I've always thought of a drug as "a substance that's intoxicating when ingested", which isn't too far off from the dictionary definition of the word.
