As parents, we try to keep our children safe from all the ""bad things" in life, but cancer is something we have no control of! It's like, what do you even say to your child when they've already been through 2 reoccurrences and they ask you "why me,.what could I have done to deserve this", when the truth is nothing! I’ve seen the comments and I also praise this girl I watch this every now and again to remind myself how grateful I am that I have my child and that she’s healthy. Not everyone has the chance or is lucky enough to be healthy so please watch these videos because they remind me of what my dad had gone through with lung cancer and he’s not here with me anymore. My young son had Stage 4 Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma. While he is in remission, he is dealing with many chronic issues as a result of the chemo and radiation treatments. Not sure how it is in the UK, but here in the States, only 4 cents of every dollar goes to pediatric cancer research. There are more white papers on rhabdomyosarcoma in adults than children even though this disease rarely affects adults.

Watching these story’s make me feel like I have cancer I dint have it though but I remember my grandma said when I was very sick for 6 months and didn’t get better until 5 months passed I got better and went to kindergarten and I still remember my grandma said push threw the pain and sometimes when I get sick I say that in my head push threw the pain ❤ I’ll remember you grandma

I am from Australia. Last year my son was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma cancer whole treatment was very hard for us. Now his maintenance is going on still he is getting lots of side affects from radiation and chemotherapy 😢

Keep up your spirits and think of those cancer cells as just needing lots of your love:) I was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma when I was 26 years old, while in my senior year of medical school. It was devastating and I thought all my dreams were being destroyed! I had surgery and started 6 months of chemo and had an epiphany after during my fourth month of chemo. I switched my thoughts from trying to fight and kill those cancer cells to imagining that I was giving big hugs to my cancer cells and filling those cells with my love, as if those cancer cells were just a group of out-of-control little children, lacking my supervision, and therefore running amuck in my body! I became a loving, present moment parent to those cancer cells! The cancer went into remission and I went on to become a pediatrician and will soon celebrate my 67th birthday. Hold on to hope and love:) Susan
