This doesn't show the patient frowning and occasionally wiggling because they need to pee.

They never show the true reality of this. It's not a good look for them so they try to hide the truth.

@@0230Raveena that's problem with today's medical.. Hehehe u more likely ok lying down but u r functioning all day in vertical position so all is hanging.. Hehehe that's including kidneys if stretched too much can be a problem this logic applies to all ur body parts.. Hehehe just saying

@kerder8660 . I do understand what you mean. There are some situations where the organs are not where they are expected to be but despite that, pathology can be found in any position. I'm a sonographer btw, and in practice we sometimes twist and turn the patients to get the best images possible....safely and with informed consent of course. This patient could have been standing for the exam but many patients are not able to stand...or do so for prolonged periods of time because they are elderly or could be very sick. Perhaps that's why it's generally referred to as "bedside" POCUS. Take Care and The best to You!

@TonyToniTone-gz8db . Generally, Hydronephrosis is easily seen on both focus renal exams or general abdominal. There are various degrees of it and it appears Black; very obvious.
