Exactly easy to insert offense with min personnel changes. Playbook Similar to Gruden but hopefully his is more adaptable like Sean Payton

@@danwgloverI was just watching this video when the alert came that AP is being hired. Would be interesting if they can get Shaw as OC.

Great video, perfect to help me understand what the Texans offense will look like in 2022 with Mills under center and Pep calling the plays. It should be an upgrade from whatever the heck you'd call that O'Brien/Kelly nonsense we've had here in Houston for past some-odd years lol

Wow I was loooking for a QB late round for the Raiders to be a long term back up and Gruden pops up, that’s interesting.

But why were they so bad in 2020??
@TheCoordinatorProject2 жыл бұрын
Their OL has been ineffective for years now, and they also run fewer plays than most offenses. Their yards/rush and their rushes/game were both low, so they had one of the worst rushing offenses in the country. Their passing game wasn't actually that bad, though they're low in a lot of full-season metrics because they only played 6 games. They were #66 in 20+ yard passing plays even though they played almost half as many games as a lot of the teams ahead of them. QB Davis Mills was #12 in the country in passing yards/game, and #21 in completion percentage, so on the whole the ball-control, WCO-style passing game did what it was supposed to do, but it wasn't a complete offense.

@@TheCoordinatorProject Surprised that they ran fewer plays than most offenses. I typically think of west coast offenses as having a higher volume of plays than a typical college offense. My thinking is that wco is less influenced by the air raid/ hunh trend in college to simplify and play fast. Would you say stanford runs a similar number of concepts as the air raid but maybe with more tags?
