Watching this video five years later and seeing the number of Stanford players who recently won gold at the 2024 Olympics or are otherwise playing professional football at the highest level is frightening. The gold medal winners featured in this video are Naomi Girma, Sophia Smith, and Tianna Davison. All three played out of their socks. Katarina Macario would have also been on the gold medal winners list if she hadn't had to pull out of the USWNT squad through injury. Other notable names seen in this video include ... Alanah Cook. Kiki Picket, Sam Hyett, and Savanna Colman, all of whom are now top-class professionals. Ps. That same year, Tianna Davison would also go on to win a gold medal as part of the USWNT that won the 2019 World Cup in France with players such as Megan Rapino, Alex Morgan. Crystal Dunn, Julie Erts etc).
