As a long time Arma 3 player my favorite mode all time was wasteland and this is just like a refined game around that!!! Factions, open maps, continually running servers, traders, NPC missions, and area of high contention for PvP, quickly respawn near friendly and run back to the fight for your gear or re-gear! I for one can’t wait

Couple things that look good in this game: 1. Seems like you can ideally pick what kind of experience you want. Stick to the faction base and you’ll get some more PvE gameplay vs if you want to push another faction town you can get some PvP. 2. Getting back into the action quick. This one might be the biggest point of contention but I like that if you die you can quickly rehear and join back up with your team. There’s quite a bit of downtime in tarkov comparatively

Don’t make the Tarkov comparison lol. In tarkov, you lose everything if you die unless you insurance fraud. In Grayzone, you can just get everything back like you can in Rust. I don’t see why everyone sees a comparison to Tarkov.

Looks boring. A game in current state doesn't get credit for any content that hasn't been put into it yet. Tired of positions like yours trying make everyone think a game is better than it actually is without having done anything to get credit for it. It looks nice visually. The missions look extremely bare bones and agonizingly boring. You're hyped by the graphics, but without the graphics, it would be a really bad generic game. This game doesn't do anything better than any other generic shooter does. Like. At all.

@@RedceLL1978 Its in a true early access stage. Think of when Tarkov only had factory to play on. You can always add the meat to the bones later, this is about seeing how the whole structure is and it looks fantastic.

Game looks good because of UE5 but everything else about it looks pretty awful. It got some hype because it copied some tarkov aspects but dont think thats going to be enough to carry it for more then a small amount of players when its planning on releasing this year.

the comparison to Tarkov makes relatively little sense. We should be happy that there are now games that try to go into as much detail as Tarkov sometimes does. I think it's useless to argue against the game because some think Tarkov "must" have a unique status, that's nonsense. The game is more of a mix of DayZ, Arma and a bit of Tarkov in terms of weapons. what speaks against it? I mean, it's okay to find the game boring, but there will come a time without Tarkov and at least I'll be happy if there's something similar and bigger. that's the way there...

Than don't play it? You don't understand the hype but millions do. It's a better tarkov made by actual military vets and actually know how to shoot a gun and how it handles. It's going to be THE milsim extraction shooter. Tarkov could never do this. Streets is 1/10 the size of this map and run 1/10000th as good 😂. That's the hype. A good extraction shooter PvEvP made by an actual good studio.
