Stanley was originally made for camping and then works took them to construction sites. They are heavy duty. My 9 year old wants and she asks me how big is 30 oz. I said, you know like the Big Gulp. LOL. I also purchased 3 of their 16 oz pints. They say they are for beer, but I use mine for ice water, soda and even coffee. Sometimes I don't want a straw. Oh, I wouldn't drink hot drinks with a straw. I mean you could try it. i wouldn't LOL My daughter wants the purple, me the original hammer green.

Yeah the smaller size sounds good for your 9 year old. I have never used it for hot drinks yet.

I just ordered mine in the Rose Quartz color. I have the Reduce Cold1 tumbler in Glacier blue. I just want to do a side-by-side comparison just to see what hubbub is about. One will be my home cup and the other one will be my work cup.

I got my stanley yesterday its the 30 oz I wanted the 40 but I also like the 30 I have the one with handle at the top and it's makes it so much EASIER to hold and holds the perfect amount of water but I want the stanley with one you can sip and turn the lid

Please use it normally, I mean you will not drink water from the bottle upside down, accidentally knock it over and quickly lift it up, so that it will not leak too much water.

Mine didn’t come with all that packaging. Mine came with the factory box that would come with it after they ordered from China. Picture of the tumbler is on the box and everything. They just slapped the label on it. Lid came scratched so I won’t be ordering from Stanley again.
