The Stanley 71 is one of my most essential hand tools. I wish it doesn't leave marks on some woods though.

I love a router plane. I use it on everything from tenons to inlays. I have the newer veritas version.

Glad to hear it. I agree. I got this at a garage sale decades ago just because it looked so cool. Later went on to actually using it. Found that when sharp it was such a great little plane and a pleasure to use. Thank you for your comment.
