Stanley was a Trojan . I knew him personally, from my parish, a mentor singer from which Ska and reggae originated. He sang with the tides band at Mobile Reserve and worked at D&G at Spanish Town Road. I was at all his festival song finals cheering him along at the Arena. I remember one of the few persons cheering when he sang "dem have fe squirm" and all my friends said he couldn't win and judges wanted Tinga Stewart, I was in the crowd at the Arena shouting "we want stanley" and no one could take his winnings from him. I just see hom now with the broad hat and singing his heart out. HE won. I have always been a fan. Rest in Peace Stanley and sing in Heaven
