@@Jupiterninja95 Per WCA Regulations (Section B4C) it says that there must be a sight blocker between the puzzle and the person, so i dont believe that they need to block their sight when looking for a piece. However the solver cannot take off their blindfold to look for such piece, as it would result in finishing their solve no matter if they are done solving or not.
