Ive had the same Stanley for 20 years, was 12 bucks. Same concept as kids wearing Bass Pro Shop hats and Carhartt that have never stepped foot in a store nor done any kind of work requiring a Carhartt. Genius marketing, they took a $12 mug, slapped some pastel colors on it and sold it to the morons of tiktok.

That’s what I told my coal miner husband! You gotta give it to Stanley…they saw these young kids coming and are profiting big time! I use a Reduce tumbler and love it, but I wouldn’t be caught dead with a Stanley tumbler. My husband works too hard for the money! 😀 My dad is a retired coal miner as well. I knew Stanley before Stanley was pastel!

It doesn't even make sense indeed. However, few months ago in the end of 2023, I saw a video from very famous celebrity/influencer in my country, using this cup and all, and at the time I just think oh that a nice cup but oddly overprice, but whatever. Now when I saw this stupid trend, I thank God that it's still not a trend in my country (Indonesia), yet, but idk. Now I just realize this is the result of guerillas PR propaganda on social medias, thru influencers. Especially toward easy impressionable kids and teenagers, and gullible adults.

In my opinion, the Reduce brand is better quality and half the price. I love my Reduce cup and even gifted two of them.

I work for a school district if I want a Stanley cup all I have to do is wait til some student leaves theirs lying around, I've collected so many different brands throughout the years, this is no different here today forgotten tomorrow.

@@handfuloflight because the lost and found is already over run with junk that kids leave lying around and never come back to pick it up.

I don’t get it!! That cup is bulky and it’s ugly af!! Not to mention it doesn’t even keep drinks cold or hot as it says it does and it leaks if it’s flipped upside down. And the kids getting bullied over those fugly cups is beyond me. These kids nowadays are aging faster than me and I’m in my 40s, with the anti-aging creams and fights over cups they’re aging so quickly they’re gonna end up in retirement communities by the age 35 because that will be the next “in” thing!! It’s crazy!!

This is a good recap. They got a lot in. The only thing they didn’t mention was water tok but idk if that’s the most important thing.
