Myep, the shaking while running definitely helps portray Stanley's reckless attitude as well as the (most likely) piss-poor job the Mid -Sodor Railway did of regauging his wheels. It was a VERY nice touch adding clips of George Carlin's material for Stanley's voice.

Ngl, I do feel bad for Stanley. He’s an American engine made for wartime but they didn’t properly re gauge him and with his big shape and small wheels, this made him irritable to the point of derailment. That’s why in my opinion Stanley was reckless.
