You probably know this: the drummer and the electric guitarists were first to meet in middle school where they met the bassist/rapper. Who recruited the singer/ keyboardist who was his friend and neighbor. The four recruited the older main vocal where they playing as a session band. They played as an indie band called Mas0094. The band signed up with RBW and were redebuted as Onewe. Their proceeds from their first song ever(As Mas0094) went to charity. Butterfly finding flower- dedicated to comfort women.

Yonghoon's voice envelops you like silk and then smacks you in the head, no other way I can explain it. His range is out of this world, and, at least for me, he manages to convey all of the emotions, his voice leaves me in tears sometimes. I think he is pure gold and all of them deserve all the success.

I’m an Atiny first and foremost, but I swear if I didn’t have Ateez I would ult Onewe and Oneus. I’ve been a big fan of both groups for a few years now and it’s always nice to see people reacting to them, especially Onewe, since they sometimes get pushed aside for the more mainstream groups within kpop communities. I think they really pour their hearts into their music, it’s so pretty and artful. Thanks so much for checking them out again! Always appreciate your videos ❤️

THANK YOU for reacting to ONEWE and appreciating them. They may not get the video views other groups might get 😔 but their music is just good for the soul. You should DEFINITELY do an album listen of their recent release Planet Nine: Voyager. The title song Universe has a music video that HITS differently (the other songs in the album have lyric videos you can view), and then the album has an excellent flow where you feel like you are a voyager on a journey. It is extra special because each member of the band wrote a song in this album which hasn't happened until now, and it makes the songs diverse in genre and feeling too. It is an incredible composition of music. Also your reaction to Aurora is definitely justified. Aurora was recognized by MTV as the top K-pop B-side song of 2021! Hopefully it is only the first step in ONEWE getting more recognition.

Dongmyeon's instrument in Veronica is called a keytar. A Book in Memory was my 2nd favorite song of 2020. It was on their first single album but they had released several longer albums previously. Onewe doesn't usually do what kpop calls a "single album" which just means an album with only 1-3 songs. RBW has assembled an in-house small orchestra to play strings, horns, etc. on their recordings. One of the ways they're different than other labels is that they tend to use more real instruments than is typical in kpop. They also use these musicians for Mamamoo concerts such as the 2017 concert that included the Immortal Songs Medley you watched. The name of the main singer is Yonghoon. Imo he's the best male singer of the current generation of kpop groups. He gives me goosebumps almost every time he opens his mouth. If there's one thing you can depend on from every group under RBW it's exceptional vocals. People say there's something fishy in the water coolers at RBW because it seems like everyone they sign is a fabulous singer. Besides Mamamoo and Onewe their other groups are Oneus, Purple Kiss and Vromance.

Yay!! Onewe and ATEEZ are my ult groups with CIX, BDC and PIXY so I am so glad you had the time to check them out!! Their music is so beautiful 😭

Thanks for reacting to ONEWE.😃 I love all their songs, including all the b-sides. But if I really have to pick a favorite, I'll choose "rain to be." I also recommend their latest title "universe_", "parting", "end of spring" and "regulars". Yong Hoon is the main vocalist. We also have Dong Myeon the lead vocalist, who also plays keyboard and key-tar. Ha Rin is the drummer, Kang Hyun the guitarist, and Cya (pronounced like key-ya) the bassist and rapper.

Thanks for this binge reaction to these talented artists. Yonghoon main vocal, Dongmyeon keyboard/vocal. I like Reminisce about all best, because I am a ballad fan and this is such a beautiful melody. Maybe "Regulus" next time? Or their latest " Universe", or both if that is not too much to ask?

The first time I ever heard A Book In Memory, I cried and since then it's been my favorite Onewe song, the emotion in their vocals and the passion behind it always moves me. These guys are all so amazingly talented and don't get enough recognition, so I'm always happy when I see people react to them. So thank you for reacting to them. If you haven't given them a listen Regulus, Cosmos and Universe are all very good as well. (I mean all of their songs are great so you can't really miss)

If you want to explore their journey check them out when four of them were teens and the five busked as an indie band called MAS 0094. They’ve been together for awhile. The band signed a contract with RBW and re debuted as Onewe

Dongmyeong's hand-held instrument is called a "keytar". 'Cause it's a keyboard that's shaped like a guitar, geddit? 😉 You really don't have to choose between songs; I know I can't. Whatever mood you're in, whatever style you feel like, they've got something to cover what you need... 😁 The lyrics to A Book In Memory were written by Yonghoon, inspired after he'd recently watched the Notebook: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Notebook The members: Yonghoon (Jin Yong-hoon): main vocal, sometime guitars Harin (Ju Ha-rin): drums Kanghyun (Kang Hyun-gu): guitars Dongmyeong (Son Dong-myeong): keyboards, keytar, vocals CyA (pronounced key-a; Lee Gi-wook): bass, rap, vocals Most of them are multi-instrumental, though; CyA in particular does synths and programming as well, and releases self-composed tracks on his SoundCloud: soundcloud.com/latecya ...some of which later get reworked into Onewe songs (see Q and AI, for example)...

Thank you for reacting to more Onewe music! The songs they create are really gorgeous. I don't know that I can pick a favorite-it used to be Parting, but recently it more just depends on the mood I'm in. There are so many good songs! I loved how you pointed out how well Harin (the drummer) handles the transitions in songs; I don't always notice that, but you're so right, he really helps shift the rhythm to smoothly guide the song in different directions. You asked towards the beginning if there are any guides to Onewe, and there are! My favorite is the one on ytube by Ollie 0094. It's slightly out of date, but I think it's the best way to get to understand the band more, and to get to know a bit about each member as well. I recommend taking a look at it! I would love to see you react to more of their music! In terms of songs that have MVs, I would suggest Regulus, Universe_, Cosmos (Acoustic), and maybe their collab with AleXa on her song 'Never Let You Go.' The harmonies in that one are just unreal.

so I've been enjoying ur previous onewe reactions so excited for this gonna go watch now subbed✌ for more onewe♥ omg I can't they are so talented like honestly all the songs they write compose and produce (which is all of their discography I believe) are masterpieces and I'm not exaggerating cuz I'm biased it's just true thank u for reaction! upd: I'd really like u to watch a guide for onewe. for me the best one is "1 band, 5 members, many reasons to love them" also I'd like to add that they are as good live as recorded yonghoon(main vocalist who hits those high ass notes) is an amazing vocalist, for me he is one of the best not only in kpop but in the world, I'm being very objective now and the rest of members are incredibly talented too
