Stan continues to review the best-selling wines in his wine department that sell for under twenty bucks. In this episode, he reviews three very popular zinfandels. He is curious as to why they keep bringing customers back for more.

Last year, Costco in AZ had a special case…The Twelve Zins of Christmas. I think they were all from Lodi.

In America, there is no legal definition of the terms "ancient vines", "old vines or, "reserve". These terms are used for marketing and nothing more.

Absolutely true! It’s a shame we don’t have some regulations on that. However, I do think it’s safe to say that Cline most likely has some older vines.

Do you think Josh wines allure will fade after the big social media boom or fade back out?

Also I believe there is no actual designation for "old vine" in the u.s. You can pretty much say that on any descriptor. Sort of like " reserve" wine.

I’m not sure, it’s certainly a strong brand. Not my go-to wine, but I get why people gravitate to it.

You are right about no regulation on those terms. Do many regulations on other things. It would be nice to see some guidelines on this in the future.
